About: he is The Clone of fred from Armando's father sometime in 1985 he was supposed to be the first ever clone that had human emotions thoughts pain and body parts. Mr chamberlain's work was groundbreaking but he didn't know what he should look like so he used his time machine and saw the Assassin when he was on the helix boat and copied Fred's looks and he assumed Fred's name was DERF. The project was a success and DERF was a normal human being. There was an unknown incident which caused DERF to go rouge. Which caused Mr chamberlain to cryogenically freeze DERF instead of killing him.
Fun fact : he is ruthless and will do anything to get the mission done even if it means killing his own teammates.
