after slipping on my tight-fitted skirt, i sat at my table waiting for my curler to heat, it was about 4:45 and hayes would be here in about another hour and a half. so i had enough time to fix my hair and do my makeup.
i decided to go with a cute black crop, with silver lining at the bottom and a black skirt to match. i lightly curled the ends of my hairs and messed with them a little so they would drop, for makeup i didn't do much but a little highlight, some mascara, eyeliner and for lips i used my kylie lipkit in the color 'high maintenance' .

- ✧ - after tying my black lace up heels, i cautiously walk down the stairs, hearing both my mom and hayes talking. not wanting to eavesdrop i enter the living room.
"you look stunning , míja !" my mom compliments, i smile and thank her.
hayes stood there, and i smiled walking over to him.
"babygirl, you look gorgeous" hayes whispers in my ear, causing me to blush.
"now you two know, no funny business" my mom chuckles winking. i slightly giggle and kiss her on the cheek before leaving out with hayes, walking to his car.
hayes opened the car door for me , once i got in he closed it and then got in on the other side. i smiled as he gently placed his hand on my inner thigh and starting to drive off. - ✧ - hayes pulled up to the palm restaurant, in downtown la. as hayes handed the keys to the valet worker, i got out and admired the restaurants outside decorations , it was brightly lit and looked beautiful being that the sun was setting.
once inside, hayes spoke to one of the waitresses. she smiled nodding, leading us to a private room. i was a bit confused as to why a private room, but it didn't matter. i held onto hayes' hand and he gently gripped it. - ✧ - "lita" hayes grins
i look up to see hayes getting up from his chair, and down on his knees, i was in complete shock.
"i know what you're thinking," hayes chuckles, "this isn't an engagement ring, yet. but it's a promise ring. we've known each other for a while, almost a year and we've gotten extremely close. yeah we've had our ups and downs but we've gotten through those. with this ring i promise to always be by your side, i promise to love you with all my heart, because you're definitely my future."
i smile, feeling little tears trickle down my cheek as hayes slides the ring on my finger, he then gets up and we share a passionate kiss.
''i love you so much,'' i grin, as hayes pressed his forehead against mine
''i love you so much more, and soon you'll be mrs.grier'' hayes smirks, giving me a peck.
