Yurio POV
"Please don't be dead" Otabek whispered to me.
"I'm not dead you idiot. My whole body's numb but I'm not dead... Takes a lot more than that to kill me" I said, my words slurring into each other slightly.
"Yeah, Okay." he said, and kept running. "Just don't move, we're almost there."
"I can't move anyway. Like I said, I'm numb everywhere. And plus you're practically squeezing the life out of me." I mumbled.
"We can't tell Viktor and Yuuri what actually happened." he said
"I know that much." I said slowly.
"I'll make something up. Just go with it." Otabek Isuggested.
"Mmm-hmm" I agreed.
THIRD PERSON
Viktor and Yuuri slept on the couch until the sound of someone kicking the door woke us.
"What the..." Viktor mumbled, rubbing his eyes sleepily.
"I'll get it." Yuuri said reaching for his glasses. He slid them onto the bridge of his nose, and opened the door. He saw Otabek holding Yurio close to his chest. Yurio's eyes were closed. Otabek was pale.
"I'm fine..." Yurio mumbled.
"You were electrocuted, you're not fine." Otabek said.
"Oh my god- here, put him on the couch." Yuuri said. "Viktor grab some blankets!"
"You're supposed to keep them cool." Viktor replied. Otabek put Yurio on the couch.
"No you're not. Get the blankets." Yuuri said.
"He'll overheat! I'm getting a cool cloth." Viktor said.
"Get. The. Blankets."
"Cool. Cloth."
"Both of you shut up!" Otabek yelled. Yuuri and Viktor looked at him, astonished by his sudden outburst. "I looked it up. One of you, get some goddamn blankets!"
"Ha!" Yuuri said.
"Fine, I'll get the blankets," Viktor said, defeated. He brought back 3 thick blankets and they wrapped them around Yurio. Later, Yurio could move again.
"So, What exactly happened?" Yuuri asked.
"We were walking and there was a power cord that was down, and he walked into it by accident. It was dark, we couldn't see very well." Otabek lied.
"Odd, I don't remember a fallen power line.... And there hasn't been strong wind in days..." Viktor said. "Should we call someone to fix it?"
"No, It's fine. The person fixing it was there, he was on break." Yurio said.
"Why would the line be live if he was working on it?" Yuuri wondered.
"He was working on getting it turned off." Otabek said.
"Okay..." Yuuri said, knowing that this wasn't the whole truth. He was about to ask more questions, when his phone rang. He pulled it out of his pocket. "It's Minako." he said and answered it. "Hello?" he said. Viktor came behind Yuuri and wrapped his arms around the younger boys*** neck and listened to what Minako was saying. "Minako slow down." Yuuri said. "Oh my goodness really?" Yuuri exclaimed. Viktor looked surprised. "Okay. Okay. Yes, of course I will. Okay, bye. Yep, bye." Yuuri said and hung up.
"What happened?" Yurio asked.
"Minako got engaged!" Yuuri replied excitedly.
"Who's Minako?" Otabek asked.
"My ballet teacher, and a family friend" Yuuri replied.
"Who'd she get engaged too?" Yurio asked.
"Chris!" Viktor and Yuuri said in unison.
"Really?" Oatbek said. Yuuri and Viktor danced around the living room, ignoring Otabek's question.
They spent the night all together, on Yurio's 16th birthday. They watched movies, played board games (Yuuri won every time) and ate food. Little did they know, there were little cameras watching their every move.
*** I did the 'Younger boy' thing because I was reading a really good fanfic with my friend the other day, and she thought it was so weird that they used the term 'younger boy' and 'older boy' becauseI guess it sounds kind pedophile-y but, I mean, I don't really care sometimes it's cute. Depends on the age gap. Anyway, I didn't want her to read this, because I'm an awful writer and she'd probably think I'm stupid, so I did that just to annoy her. SO HA! TAKE THAT Cielwannabe !!!
