Chapter 1: Finding Creepypasta Lane
Vera Cunning Fire walked through the woods, away from her house and the people who would rather send her to a private school than deal with her and her anger issues.
Vera was the kind of person who would get angry over nearly everything, well except stuff she loved, like writing, singing and meeting new kinds of people, the kind that accepted you and accepted how you were and what you liked and didn't like.
she didn't really have any friends, the last friend she had left her for the popular people and she never talked to Vera again, never looked at her. When she did look at Vera she would give her an evil look and look at her in disgust when her little group saw her looking at Vera. After that she had vowed to never make friends with girls ever again because she knew they would just leave her for someone who knew something about fashion and not always talk about football and anime, or a new creepypasta or other creepy stories.
Vera started to slow down as she saw a sign saying 'Creepypasta Lane'. She wondered if it was real or if it was her old friend taking the mick out of her and making her look like a fool so she could tell everyone at school, but at that moment she didn't care, she had plans to run away anyway so this would only give her a reason to.
She walked through until she came into a clearing, a street with streetlamps and a sidewalk and dark houses on either side of the street making the street look even scarier than it already was, but she continued on. The feeling she had grown to know, but not know what it was, came to her at that instant, making her smile. The feeling was warm and inviting and she got it every time she got in a fight or when she was reading a creepypasta story of some sort.
She jumped as she heard footsteps behind her. She turned and stood in her fighting position, legs shoulder length apart and slightly bent, her arms ready to attack and her hand formed a fist, ready to punch anything that came out at her.
She stopped as she saw someone she thought she would never see. Jeff The Killer. She gasped softly and stood up straight, straighter than she had ever been in her whole life.
"You're Jeff. OMG! I knew you were real, no one else believed me," Vera said, as quiet as she could so no one would hear her but Jeff.
"Yeah, that's me. How do you know me? Don't tell me. You read it online," Jeff responded putting the knife he was holding in his hoodie pocket.
"Well yeah, it was. Sorry to disappoint you," Vera Said softly.
"I need to take you somewhere. Introduce you to someone, the Mayor of our town," Jeff Explained. the last thing Vera saw before she blacked out was Jeff hitting her over the head with the handle of his knife and picking her up, bridal style.
