I got my first watch age 5, just a kids cheap one, but I treasured it like it was a 24 carat gold bracelet. I still actually have this watch, in a glass box. Soon after, I saved all my money, about £10 in all, but a lot of money to someone so young, and bought an almost identical watch to it. Everyone was confused as I would often wore both at a time, always on my left wrist. That was where it all began...

Every few months I would buy a new watch, and I would throw a fit if one ran out of battery. Then I found other hobbies, karate and cookery, both of which I still do now, and watches slowly fizzled out of my mind like a bath bomb slowly running out of fizz and being ignored.

Aged 10, I found my love again, and now I own over 50 watches, including 2 brand new Swatch watches and 2 vintage Rotary watches, beautiful things, and even though cookery, karate and GCSE's get in the way, now my watches are always on my mind. Finally a happy medium has occurred.
