Chapter 19 - last day

As I sat inside mine and Grayson's tent, I stared at my hand. Mainly paying attention to the ring. It was so beautiful, and I couldn't believe it. I'm engaged, and I'm going to marry the love of my life.
" Anna? " Grayson groaned, sitting up off the mattress and yawning.
We'd just woken up, and the weather is perfect again. Today is our last day at the campsite, because we leave tomorrow. I'm actually really sad to be leaving, but we'll definitely come again. Who knows, maybe it'll be an annual thing?

" Morning Gray " I laughed, sounding incredibly tired as I spoke.
He pulled me back down next to him gently, placing a kiss on my cheek and shoulder. His hands found my waist as he hovered over me, and my hands became tangled up in his soft hair. He looked into my eyes, before I pulled him down towards me, kissing his lips passionately.
" Bitch, come on! You said we could- " Brandon began, unzipping the tent and stopping dead in his tracks once he saw us.
His lips grew into a smirk, and he laughed as he closed back up the tent.
" is she coming? " I heard Ashton say from outside, and Grayson and I were froze in our position.
" She's too busy making out with her fiancé, so probably not " Brandon said, and I knew he would be smirking while saying it.
I chuckled, jumping up and opening the tent back up, waving at them both.
" I am ready, actually " I laughed, and they nodded quickly.
" What about me? " Grayson called out, stepping out of the tent and walking towards the campfire with us.
" you can wait! " Ashton laughed, taking a seat in a chair next to Joey and Hunter.
" morning guys, have you seen Soph? " Joey asked, as Ashton sunk into his seat at the mention of her name.
I laughed, shaking my head and smiling.
" no I haven't " I answered.
" Yo, Hoeseph! Sophie is just in her tent getting ready " Blake butted in, calling him hoeseph which he chuckled at.
" alrighty " He sighed.
" Where's everyone else? " Grayson asked.
" They've gone to get more wood for the fire... they want to have a huge campfire tonight and sing cringey songs since it's the last day here " Hunter said, rolling his eyes at the idea.
" I think that sounds fun! " I cheered, as Hunter groaned.
" Oh come on, who doesn't want to hear Weston singing at the top of his lungs all night? I sure know I do " I joked, making them crack a smile.
" Weston sings like a dying seal " Blake laughed.
" true " Weston sighed, joining in the conversation at the wrong point.
" I thought you'd gone to get wood? " I giggled, raising a brow.
" Me? Carrying wood? Hell no " Weston shouted, sitting down and opening a can of lemonade.
I smiled, taking a sip of mine before hearing a cute giggle coming from behind me.
" Guess who!!! " Jayden squealed, covering my eyes with his tiny hands which made me smile.
" Ummm, Ethan? " I guessed, obviously just trying to please him.
" no, silly! " He giggled.
" Kenzie? " I guessed again, and he removed his hands before jumping in front of me.
" Wow, Jay!! " I smiled, ruffling his hair.
He grinned, before sitting down and playing with the flowers in the grass. He's honestly such a great kid. He's only 3, but I know that he's going to grow up to be someone kind, funny and extremely loving. Kendall and Cameron have done a great job, with all of our help of course ;)

It was now around 3pm, and we were all down by the river fooling around. Some of us were in the water, and some were relaxing on the rocks while singing to the music we were playing.
" No freaking way! " Tayler yelled, grabbing all of our attention.
" what? " Olivia asked, jumping up and rushing over to him.
The expression on both of their faces was a mixture of shock and excitement, which made me anxious. Ethan then stood up, making his way to where they both were to see.
" there's a rope swing!! " Ethan beamed, clapping his hands together excitedly.
Everyone went wild, climbing out of the water and up the rocks to where they were to have a look.
" do you think it'll break if we go on? " Ariel asked, tugging on it lightly to check.
" Nah, we'll be fine " Cameron said reassuringly.
" let's put Jayden on first to test it " Weston joked, making us all laugh.
" Who wants to go? " I asked, looking at all of my friends.
" I'll go first!! " Sophie volunteered, and I smiled.
She cheered, wrapping her legs around the rope as Ethan and Blake pulled her back, letting go of her after. She screamed at the top of her lungs as she swung, soon letting go of the rope and falling into the cool water beneath it. We waited anxiously for her to come up, and as soon as she did, she started laughing.
" that was so cool! " She laughed, climbing out and standing next to Ashton.
" I'll go next! " Ashton smirked.
" trying to impress your lady now, are we? " Blake joked, earning a quick glare from Ash.
He grabbed onto it anyway, swinging and landing in the water quickly. It did look really fun, so I wanted a go.
" My go!!! " I yelled, raising my hand in the air excitedly.
" Oh here we go, there'll be some crazy flips or something now " Kendall said, and I chuckled as I grabbed onto the thin rope.
Grayson and Joey gave me a push, and as soon as I was over the water, I let go.
I attempted a backflip while falling, and it worked, pretty sure it was a double one too! I didn't even mean for that, so that was cool.
" that was so good " Tayler complimented, as I swam to the rocks and got out of the water.
I did a little bow on the edge of the rock, making them laugh. That was until someone pushed me into the water, taking me completely by surprise.
" who the- " I began, breathing heavily since I'd just surfaced.

Grayson.

" you're going to pay for this! I'll get you back " I yelled, jumping onto him and attempting to drown him in the water.
We all know I wouldn't really drown him though, as much as I'd love too. I'm kidding!! Meanwhile, all of our friends were wetting themselves laughing, which set us both off too. Even though this weekend is coming to an end, it's definitely one to remember.

A/N- So, a few people have asked if there will be another book....
And I'm super sad to say that this is the final book of the series...

JOKES! Yes there will be another book😂 I've already thought of the name, and I've created the cover, blurb and everything else! It'll be quite different, and there's a big time skip... hint hint, many kids... TEENAGE kids😂
Meaning drama, and all that jazz✌🏼
But yeah, I hope you're excited! I'm really looking forward to writing this!!💘💘💘💘
