My Heart raced as I tried my hardest to claw my way out of that hole but with every advance I made the exit became farther and farther away. That pitch black void became hotter and hotter as the unseen roars became louder. Her voice echoed in my head, swirling around my cranium, stabbing my brain like a  million pocket knives. It was my sister. She was back. And I knew that this time she was stronger than ever. I jumped out of my sleep, yelling for my children covered in sweat. My husband was asleeep, but now laid awoken next to me. "Honey, are you okay? Is it the night terrors again?" He croaked. I'd been having this same dream night after night, with little variations. My husband passed them off as just night terrors, because he didn't know my secret. I was a witch, and a strong one at that. "Yeah, its fine, go back to sleep." I assured him.

I came from a long line of fantastical beings, if you wanna sugar coat it. We didn't use pentagrams or worship satan or anything like that. We didn't sacrifice people or animals or chant in circles, none of that Halloweeny scary stuff. We just were gifted, we're not actually called witches either, we are literally called "The Gifted" which I think is bullshit but whatever floats the boat I guess. We could make plants grow and die, send telepathic suggestions to people, talk to animals, teleport, things like that. But all of us werent as good as we were supposed to be, thats where my sister comes in. We were both created by our parents in the image that they conjured up in there heads, almost perfect but something went wrong with my sister. She was always a little different, a litte stronger, a little prettier, a little meaner, but it would never lead even the most skeptical of people to believe that she'd go dark.

it was the night of our highschool senior prom, that was the night that she completely lost it and slaughtered 5 boys who didn't ask her to be their dates; 5 boys that she really wanted, including her bestfriend. Then she came home and tried to throw my parents and I into the Cauldron. The Cauldron is basically your everyday parallel plane filled with the evil dead and other horrific things (I know right). She ripped open a portal because appearantly she could do that anytime she pleased (a power that we had never known even exsisted), and she tried to push all of us inside and we had to do what was best, we were forced to push her into the Cauldron for enternity. But I had a feeling she was coming back.

The next morning I returned to my picture perfect life in my picture perfect house with my picture perfect human kids & husband. Sometimes it was sickening how happy we were. We spent our days on the beach together splashing around in the waves, it was like something out of those terrible Barbie childrens movies. But I loved it mostly, especially since I had a feeling that something bad was iminent. It was bright and early that summer morning when I realized this picture perfect life was really starting to rub off on me. Either that or I was rubbing off on it because most of my powers were now gone. Just like that into thin air. I guess I should be used to things disappearing into thin air by my goodness not anything like this. The only thing I could really do was teleport. It started when I noticed that my suggestions were no longer working on my otherwise impressionable husband. Red Flag.
