chapter four-
"I saw a cat- one that wasn't from our clan! I needed to find him! I knew Moss-star would've appreciated that, wouldn't she?" Minnowpaw rambled, her excuse fast and thought out. Surely they couldn't blame her for being 'loyal'.((Credit to RedwoodWrites for the excuse!))
Rosepetal lightly narrowed her eyes, huffing. More cats started to slither out of their dens, all eyes on Minnowpaw. She knew if she stepped back, or showed hesitance or any sort of fear, they'd suspect something. Therefore, the quick-witted apprentice straightened her posture challengingly, flickering her eyes, cat to cat.
"May I ask how did it look like?" Rosepetal inched forward, her short legs moving fast like a caterpillar's.
'Ugh, she looks creepy.' Minnowpaw thought with misery, raising a catbrow. "It was a ginger weird-looking feline with sharp-tipped ears, rather stout and stubby legs-- however his body was weirdly skinny yet fur covered it up and made it look like he was plump." She etched the cat in her head, looking up to the side in thought.
"It's interesting how you saw the legs... and it's foggy right now." The broad and beautiful she smirked with delight of pointing that out, feeling like she caught four birds in one swipe.
Minnowpaw slightly widened her eyes, iris dilating with fear. Her scent of fear wafted around in the air, panic surging through her blood. She feared of being anxious in this situation, which made her pulse quicken.
Cutting the moment short, unfortunately or fortunately, a fox jumped out of the bushes.
[ I told you it'd be crazy! Don't worry, it'll tone down a little before rising again. ]
