Don't just stand there, rake the tables.
Clean the streamers or set the stables.
Cook the dishes, Put up your room,
Sweep the grass, Here is the broom.
Dust the laundry, Water the stairs.
Pet the music. And yes, both pairs.
Take out the oven, buy the trash.
Change the bugs; my secret stash.

Don't just stand there, mow the car.
Paint the TV. It looks good so far.
Brush off the food, vacuum the cat.
Mop the couch. You know where it's at.
Bake the fridge, scrape the plants.
Frost the counters, powder the ants.
Hang the cake. Nice and steady.
Baste the walls. We're almost ready.

Don't just stand there, lick the fans.
Shovel the roast, but not the pans.
Order the porch, puree the floors.
Chop all the flowers and pour the doors.
The chairs I'll broil and pickles I'll borrow.
Replace the windows, the party is tomorrow.
I really hope the guests are not tardy
to my awesome,
FANTABULAR,
SPECTABULOUS PARTY!
