Chapter One: The Famous Vine
327. That’s the number of followers I had on vine. Vine is the best thing in the world. Well isn’t all social media. Vine is this awesome app that you post 6 second videos on. I have made about 17 vines as of now. There all of me just being stupid and myself. It started with just my close friends following me, but then they started to revine my vine and more people followed me. It’s mostly people from my school that follow me, besides some random weirdos. But there’s this one video that really set everything off for me.
It was a Tuesday just a boring old Tuesday. Almost the last day of the first semester of freshman year. I guess I was excited that school was soon to be over for the break but I didn’t want to say bye to freshman year it was ending so fast, it was the best. People said it would be the worst but it truly was amazing. I made Varsity cheer, Varsity softball, got straight A’s all year, went to a couple parties, it was just overall good. But back to today. I was sitting in Algebra 2, the bell rang and school was out for the day. It had been snowing for a while and the ground was frozen. And of course I had to walk home from school. People were sliding and falling on the ice everywhere. I decided to make a vine. After I found my friend Kaylie who I was walking home with I gave her my phone so she could record.
“Public School System be like” “there’s nothing wrong outside you can go to school”
Then I fell on the ice.
“haha that was perfect Hadilee” My best friend Kaylie said after she finished recording.
We walked home not falling too many times and soon said bye to each other as we approached my house. I unlocked the door to my house and was greeted by my dog Tucker. I ran up to my room and laid on my bed for what seemed like forever but in reality was probably 10 minutes. ”Ok gotta post that vine I thought to myself.” I posted the vine then went to the kitchen to get a snack. Man school makes me hungry. I grabbed some fruit and made a smoothie then went back upstairs. I checked my phone and I had all these notifications. Um this is weird I thought. I pulled up vine and soon realized one of my friends Rylan had tagged Cameron Dallas and Nash Grier in my vine of me falling on the ice. The thing is both of them revined it liked it and then tagged me in something. OMG I started the freak out The Cameron Dallas and The Nash Grier saw my vine! I clicked to see what they tagged me in and it was a video of them. I watched it over and over again and then it hit me Cameron and Nash remade my vine! The fact that they found it and remade it had completed my life. I got all these notifications of all these people following me, I soon had 5k followers! My phone buzzed again. Oh God they followed me on twitter too! I put my phone down and walked around my room trying to comprehend what was going on. *ding ding* I walked over to my phone to find a message saying I had a direct message. From the one and only Cameron Dallas.
Cameron- Hey I really like your vines and you seem like a totally cool person hit me up sometime- 456-678-7890
Should I text him. Uh duh why do you even have to think about it? I texted him just a simple “Hey it’s Hadilee” Oh god I can’t believe I’m texting Cameron, I watch his vines like every day.
