I was currently sitting at Jeffery’s pack house. Yea, my dad made me go to these types of things to learn so I can help other packs that my need my help.  I was sitting in a corner with my knees pulled up to my chest.

“Hey” a small voice came from the side of me. I looked up and saw a guy that looked around my age. He had brown hair that matched mine and light blue eyes. I gave him a small smile, which he returned.

“Are you Mr. Smith’s daughter?” he asks quietly. I nod.

“Do you want to go do something fun? This is boring!” he said with a smile, which caused me to chuckle.

“Sure just let me tell my dad and then we can.” I lifted my feet off of the chair and went over to my dad. He had his hands crossed over his chest, meaning that he was trying to concentrate hard at the matter on hand. I went up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. He jumped a little when I touched his shoulder. Weirdo.

“Hey me and my new friend, that I don’t know the name of, are going to do something fun. I promise to actually watch next time.” He turned around and looked at me. Uh oh. That can’t be good.

“Okay, just come back before its over.” He told me. Well that’s not what I expected.

“Okay.” I turned around and walked over to my new friend, I guess I should call him.

“So you wouldn’t mind me asking your name?” I ask. He laughed a little and shook his head a little.

“It’s Nathan. Yours is Haven, so I’ve been told.” He tells me and walks down a hall. I follow him like a lost puppy.

“Who told you?” I ask quietly.

“Well let’s just say I have a good friend that admires you from afar.” He turns around and starts walking backwards. He gives me a cheeky smile then turns back around.

“And that doesn’t sound stalker-ish to you?” I ask him, slightly worried.

“No, because I’ve know this guy for a while now and he’s not the stalker type.”

“Then who is this kid?” I jog so I can catch up to his fast walking.

“I can’t say or else I would be killed. Not literally of course.” Man was this kid strange.

“I’m not that strange.”

“Quit reading my thoughts! Its creepy and strange!” I said in a frustrated tone.

“Ah no can do sister, I’ve noticed that you have been thinking about one person this whole night. I don’t think that’s healthy.” I could hear the playfulness in his tone. Yea and he says he’s not strange.

“So you have been stalking me this whole time tonight?” We walk into a large living room that has a lot of people our age sitting around and talking or playing on their phones.

“Sort of. Its all just to get information back to your secret admirer.” He said walking over to a different hall and led me down to a door. I don’t think I should be with him anymore. “Your safe with me, so you have nothing to worry about.” Quit freaking reading my thoughts! He chuckles right as I think this. Really?

“I don’t know if I should be creeped out or if I should just book it and run.” I told him honestly. He laughed at this. He opened the door and lead me in. When I opened the door I stopped dead in my tracks. I turned around and walked back out of the roim. I looked at Nathan like he was crazy. Was he being serious?  I’m NOT going in there.

“Then what else are you going to do? Go back to your dad and be bored the rest of the night?” Nathan told me, once again reading my thoughts.  He should really stop doing that. “Not going to happen.” I groaned as he said this. Really?
