Chapter 2: Being Accepted Into The Creepy Household.
Vera Woke Up, looking around at the dark room she had been put in, and groaned. A figure walked out of the shadows, something she had not seen when she was looking around the room.
"you're finnally awake, how did you sleep?" The figure said, Vera could sense the figure smiling at her.
"What do you want? Do you want to kill me? If you do, then do it, I have no reason to live anymore people hate me!" Vera shouted out, she didn't mind if the person would do what she asked, her life was horrible as it was, the figure would only be doing her a favor.
"Why do you want to die so much? Did actually meeting me turn you suicidal or something?" The laughing remark came as a surprise for Vera.
"Jeff? What happened? Where am i?" Vera asked, Mentally kicking herself for not realising it was Jeff.
"I brought you here so we can talk to the mayor and see if you are worthy to stay in The Creepypasta Lane or if you should be wiped of the knowledge of ever being here and be sent back to wherever you come from," Jeff replied, Dully as if he had had to say this too much in his life.
"When can i meet this mayor you keep talking about?" Vera asked ashamed to have asked anything in the first place. She had always wanted to meet Jeff, but now that she was in the same room as him and they had talked, she didn't really want to make a fool of herself infront of him so she couldn't be herself anymore. That always happened when she met someone new or someone she had wanted to see her whole life.
"We'll go as soon as you get your strength back and your head aches gone away," Jeff responded, walking forward so he was now fully infront of the light and Vera could see him better. She looked at his carved smile and the burn marks of where his eyelids used to be. She looked at his blood soaked hoodie and his black dress pants, the clothes they said he wore before it all had gone downhill and before he turned into the serial killer he was.
"Im fine now, can we go?" Vera said after a few seconds of silence. She stood up and walked to Jeff's side as he started to walk out of the dark room he had kept her in for god knows how long she had been unconscious for.
They walked through the door and out into the open. Vera looked back at the small hut she had been in and sighed, she would never be able to look at that hut again withought thinking of their first meeting. They kept on walking through a garden full of nothing but dead flowers and grave sof people they had killed and brought back so EJ could eat the kidneys. They walked till they got to a back garden of a house that looked dark, well all the houses were dark, but this house seemed to be the darkest and biggest house in the whole lane.
"Nice house you've got here, who else lives in this house?" Vera asked as they walked towards the back door.
"Me, EJ, LJ, Slenderman, BEN, Masky, Hoody, Ticci Tobi and Smile Dog. Slenderman is the Mayor of the street and he chooses if people stay or go. I bet he'll say you can stay, you just wait and see!" Jeff answered, the last bit sounding more of the truth than an opinion, making Vera feel happy that she had a chance to stay.
Jeff opened the door and let Vera in first, like a true gentlemen. She walked in and looked back at Jeff, not knowing where to go or where to stand, she just felt nervouse and awkward.
"Stay here and I'll get Slenderman," Jeff explained, pointing at the spot a few spaces infront of the stairs. Vera waited and waited after Jeff had gone up the stairs and dissapeared from view. She waited for so long. She then heard voices from upstairs, footsteps coming from rooms and at last Jeff came into view with Slenderman standing tall behind him, the rest of the household behind, pearing around Slenderman to see what all the commosion was about.
"Yes that's her," Jeff said looking at Slenderman. For a second Vera looked at him like he was crazy, but then she remembered that Slenderman talked to people in their minds and so waited until they had finnished talking. She heard Jeff tell Slenderman about her knowing them from the internet and not believing they were real until she had seen Jeff. He also told Slenderman about how she wasn't scared of knives and how she would really help him with his killing sprees.
"You're in Vera. Slendy likes you so far, just don't give him a reason not to," Jeff told Vera with a smile on his face, bigger than the one he already had, if it was even possible.
"Thanks, you wont regret it, ever, thank you so much!" Vera Answered excitedly and jumping up and down.
Everyone looked at Jeff as if he was crazy when he ran over to Vera and held her in a tight hug. Vera Hugging Back, both smiling so much their smiles could of ripped their faces apart.
