"Hey, where'd you get hotdogs, from?" Ria asked Korene when she approached them with her lunch tray, at their usual table.

"I nagged the chef to make one for me," Korene answered.

"I didn't know people make hotdogs," Skylar stated in her usual calm tone, "I thought they took them out of boxes, you know; like biscuits!" Korene gave her a quizzical look before turning back to her meal.

"Anyway, I think we're gonna have a rescheduling of classes soon," Korene stated.

"Why is that?" Ria asked, before she bit into her burger.

"I was going through the school's system-"

"You mean, hacked?" Ria rephrased, as she raised her eyebrows at Korene.

"Fine," Korene admitted in a guilty tone, "But I wasn't doing anything to sabotage anyone. And don't ask why I did it, but I came across the enrolments and it seems like the student roll just increased this year. And to add to that, we have a few teachers who have left the school without replacements. So they're gonna have to reset and reorganise our timetables again."

Hayne caught up with Ria, who was waiting for Danny that afternoon, and decided to hand over his stuff for her to take home.
"Here. And here," Hayne said as he gave Ria all of his books.

"Don't you have room in your car?" she asked, feeling the weight of the books he gave.

"Just leave them in the study for me," he replied impatiently. "My car's gonna be full of sweaty rugby players. And I need that workbook to maintain it's neatness to return back to the school library. So don't even think of turning your careless mode on, coz these books are worth more than everything in your bag put together." After he turned around, Ria poked her tongue out at him, behind his back.
Alesia was just coming by and saw the two in conversation, she saw Hayne give his books to Ria and wondered why.

"If I'm not blind, I thought I just saw Hayne out there with Tarzan's sister!" Bianca joked, when she came by with Renae, Evan and Stella.

"Hah ha! Nice one," Stella chuckled.

"Maybe they know each other," Renae shrugged.

"Or maybe he's found a different taste," Evan smirked, trying to get an annoyed expression from Alesia.

"Ew! Screw her, Evan. The last thing I'd rather die than see, is that hobo-looking girl, around the arms of, my, Hayne Harber!" she uttered in disgust before throwing her gorgeous prada bag on the car seat and then getting into her car.

"You ready?" Mr. Harber asked. On that Saturday morning, he was going to head down for a three hour drive to Formonte with Ria. Ria came down the stairs, putting on her cardigan.

"Yep," she said. Then, they headed out to the car and hit the road.

"Do you still remember her?" Mr. Harber asked, an hour later as they rode down the highway.

"I think so," Ria replied from the back seat. Her mind went back to the time she could remember, Matron Mal. She was a good old caregiver who took care of the orphans well. She remembered how she taught them how to cook, sew, tie their shoes and the bows in their hair, she also taught them the basic stuff on how to also take care of themselves as young girls. Ria wondered if the old matron would still remember her.

Finally, Mr. Harber stopped the car in front of a white picket fence of a lovely blue house. Ria looked out, seeing flowery shrubs surrounding the house and pot plants lined up on the front porch. Mr. Harber looked to her through the rearview mirror.
