Old Love (Stiles & Theo)

19: I always find a way to screw it up.✔️

     Stiles moves the sheet on top of the body and I recognized the body. "Do you know him?" Theo asks "His names Josh, he's a Junior," Scott said, Stiles covers his body again "So who killed him?" I ask they look at me "What?" Stiles stutters I look at them oddly "Which doctor killed? The one with the cane?" I ask they looked relief, but something feels fishy. Stiles looks at Theo "Yeah" Theo says "What are we going to do with him? We can't just set the alarm and leave. That's how Tracy disappeared. Someone has to stay here with him." Stiles says "I'll do it, it's not like I have a big Saturday, planned," Theo says "You want me to stay with you?" I ask he smiles "No, Ana, I think you should be with Scott, if anything happens you'll be safer with Scott," he says I give a light smile. I can take care of myself. I get a message from Liam and he found another chimera "Ana? What is it?" Stiles asks "Liam, he found a chimera," I said.

     I walk in the house "Where is she?" I ask "In the restroom," Liam says showing me the door. Scott knocks, but nothing "Hayden? It's Scott, I know that you're scared, but we just, we want to help. I can hear her heart beating. She's really freaked out. "What happened?" Scott asks Liam "She was okay when we got here. I went to text you for two seconds and she locked herself in" Liam says "Why?" Stiles and I ask "I don't know?" Liam says "She's definitely a chimera?" Scott asks and Liam nods "She said she heard a voice saying, 'Your condition improves'."Liam says "Okay that's unsettling," Stiles says walking to the door "Hayden. This is Stiles. Your sister works for my dad down at the station. Look, just open the door, okay? You can trust us." Stiles say, but nothing he walks behind Liam and I walk towards the door "Hayden, It's Ana, I know you're scared, but we just wanna tell you the truth, and what we are about to tell you is better to talk to face to face, it's either you unlock the door or I'm breaking it open. It's fine if you don't want to talk, but we just want to make sure you are okay in there." I say, I was about to hit the lock to open the door, that the first thing my dad taught me, I didn't think it was useful, but now that I'm not a werewolf it is. Then the door unlocked she opened it a little "I just wanna talk to Ana if that's okay?" she asks I look at Scott "Yeah that's fine" Scott says I nod and walk in the restroom. I see her and her eyes were glowing and she had claws and fangs "I believe you" she says really scared.

     "How are my two favorite guys doing?" I ask Stiles and Theo "Fine" they both said "I'm glad you guys are going to have quality time together," I said "Yeah, I know," Stiles says sarcastically I give him a playful glare "Well I have to go to the school, see you guys later." I said I kiss Theo in the lips and jump off Stiles's Jeep "Bye Stiles." I yell "Bye" I hear him say. I jump into my car and drive to the school.

     "Is everything set up?" I ask Scott  "Yeah," Scott says and I nod. "Scott does Liam know about the second part of the plan?" I ask whispering and making eye contacts with the chains in the bag that Scott brought. "I'm still not sure there is going to be a second part," Scott said "Or if it's going to work" Lydia adds and he nods.

     I look at Liam and Hayden "You know they remind me of you and Alli" I told Scott "She was my first love" he said "You were hers too" I said, he gets up and starts walking towards something "Do you see that?" Scott asks I look at what he was looking, but I see nothing. "Scott?" Lydia says and Scott goes back to reality "I was just thinking since we can't use our phones, we can't check in on Stiles and Theo." Lydia says and she had a point what if something goes wrong "I didn't even think about that" Scott said "Me neither, So we're standing here waiting for guys in masks and breathing tubes to show up. But who or what are Stiles and Theo waiting for?" Lydia says.

     We were all getting tired, so I go to the sink at let the water run I place my hand in the water and rub my face, I turn it off and look in the mirror I see Liam unzipping the bag with chains I turn around "Liam wait" I said he shows me the chains "What are you going to do with these?" Liam asks "We brought them just in case," Scott said "In case of what?" he asked, "In case we had a chance to catch one of them." Lydia said. "If we can't make the school a fortress, then maybe we can make it a trap," I said, "They're coming for her, doesn't that mean she's the bait?" Liam asks I look at Hayden and I knew she was terrified.

     "Liam, we brought her here to protect her," Lydia says "And now she's bait," Liam says "Am I?" Hayden says "No, no one's bait, but we can't be bodyguards to everyone every night." Scott says "Then why aren't we talking to Stiles' dad? Why aren't we doing something better than hiding in a school?" Liam say really angry "Because we still don't know anything about them or what they want, okay? They're winning and we don't even know what the game is." I say "What if they come in here and those things don't work? What if you have an asthma attack again? What are we gonna do?" Liam says getting closer to me, I can feel my heart racing "I-I don't know" I say softly "This plan suck!" he says louder "Do you have a better one?" I say raising my voice a little "Kids are dying! And she's next. So, somebody has to do something. Somebody has to save everyone. So somebody's got to be the bait!" I yell my breathing became heavy, I look at Scott and he looked at me kinda worried. I look at Liam this is the first time I yelled at him and he yelled at me, my heart was still racing. "Ana," he says softly I look at him "Promise me you'll do everything you can to save her," Liam says I look at Hayden and then at the floor "Ana! promise?" he says "I'll do everything I can. I promise" I say and he nods.

     "Guys, I think I might need a little help right now. I forgot my pills. I have a bottle in my locker I can get them, but-" Scott cuts Hayden off "I'll get them" Scott says "I'll go with you" I told Scott and he nods "What's your combination?" Scott asks her.

     We leave the room "Hurry guys, I'll keep watch" Lydia says standing by the door. Scott and I walk towards the lockers, we find Hayden's locker "What was her combination again?" I ask Scott "26-36-10," he says, but before I could open it I hear something "Do you hear that?" I whisper "Yeah," Scott said.

     I saw a figure of Allison "Alli" I whisper I start walking to the room I saw her go in. I enter the room, but no ones here I feel and arrow go through my back I gasp I hold myself onto the table so I don't fall to the floor "Allison?" I say I feel and arrow enter my leg I scream and fall to the floor I saw Allison. I was on my back "Hey Ana" she said then shot and arrow through my throat. My eyes widened I tried to breathe, but I was just gasping for air.

     I feel something open on my arm I yell and I get up from the floor screaming I see Scott and Liam's best friend "Ana, are you okay?" Scott asks me, and my breathing was heavy "No, of course, I'm not okay, none of this is okay" I whisper "What happened?" I said "Mason found another chimera" Scott said "You did? Who?" I ask "His names Corey," Mason says "Wait where's Liam and Hayden?" I ask panicking. We run back to the room and Lydia says "They're gone" "No, N0!" I say punching a locker door, which left a dent, I groan in pain "Hayden and Liam are gone" Malia says "I had one job and it was to protect her and I always find a way to screw it up" I say angrily.
