Chapter Three ♡

The next morning I woke up in my messy bedroom at 10·30 am. I rubbed my eyes looking over to the window, I clambered out of bed and went to the toilet. I caught a glance of myself in the mirror,oh dear I looked a mess! My hair was all over the place I had mascara under my eyes and a food stain on my top. I walked back into my bedroom and tidied up a little,anything had to be an improvement in there!

I went into the kitchen to make myself some tea and toast,that was the best breakfast in the history of breakfasts! I turned the television on but a  usual there was nothing good on! So instead  I looked through my DVD collection and found shrek,my favourite Disney movie! I'm really not a morning person so I missed half of the film because  I was daydreaming and trying to fully wake up.

after about an hour of watching the film I decided to get up and shower. I got out of the shower and draped a pink towel around me, i went in my room pulling out the usual outfit a pair of jeans and a sweater. 

But then my phone rang brr brr a text message from ' Ed'. OMG WHAT?! Then everything from last night came flooding back and my heart raced. I grabbed my phone and typed in the password. 

'Hey, do you wan't to grab some coffee?' It read

I thought about it for a bit, what am i kidding? I'd love to go out with him!

'Yeah sure!' I replied

I threw my hair into a bun and a text soon came back.

'Great! Meet me at Al's coffee shop in 10 minutes?'

'Yes, see you there :)' 

Al had quite a few buisnesses around town. Al's coffee shop was a cute, friendly little shop on the corner of the road. Outside a sign above it read 'Al's coffee' very original.

I waited outside the shop for about five minutes, watching people walk by, running in the park. I looked down at my watch in-patiently another five minutes had passed and i was thinking this was some kind of a set up. I started thinking about my exboyfriend and all the horrible things he had said to me, the thoughts were whirlpooling around my mind, what was i thinking? Did i really think i could have a chance with someone as amazing as that? But there, in the distance i could see a mop of ginger hair and a green hoodie running towards me.

"I am so, so sorry I got caught up in a new song i was writing!" Ed explained. His music was brilliant so i wasn't mad.

"It's fine" I smiled.

We walked into the coffee shop to be hit by a warm welcoming smell. Ed walked over to a table and pulled a chair out for me, i looked at him and smiled "Thankyou". The woman working in the shop came over and took our orders. I had a hotchocolate and Ed ordered a regular coffee.

"Your name is Jess? right?" Ed asked embarrassed

"Yes, it is" I chuckled

"Megan told me about you and how you write songs too!" Ed said

" wait, what?" I asked confused. I had wrote a few songs and i played guitar but nowhere near as good as Ed!

"Me and Megan had met before at one of the gigs i had done in Al's pub" Ed smiled " I'd love to hear one of your songs?" Ed asked

"Oh, they are not very good" I said looking down at my hands.

"Don't be silly! I bet they are, come on" Ed begged, i looked up at him and gave him a smile. "Oh pretty pleasee" Ed said pouting his lip as we both laughed. 

"Maybe, i'll think about it!" I said just because his 'pretty please' and puppy dog eyes were so cute.

"Yay!" Ed shouted.

The next few weeks went by where Ed and I hung out and I went to a couple of gigs with him, we met up at the coffee shop alot and took walks around the London streets. Me and the girls went on various shopping trips and it had been an amazing couple of weeks!

I woke up at a loud knock on my door BANG BANG. I looked over at my phone on the table it was 2.30 am, i had fallen asleep on the sofa watching disney films. Who on earth was at my door at this time?! Was i hearing things? But then again BANG BANG BANG. I threw the blanket off of me and answered the door, it was the last person i had expected to see? Why was he here?
