Chapter 20 - home sweet home

" Have you got all of the chairs? " I asked, swinging the car keys around my finger.
" yep, they're in the trunk " Brandon said, jumping into the backseat, followed by Ashton and Hunter.
" alrighty, where's Gray? " I shrugged, now climbing into the drivers seat.
I wanted to drive this time, I really love being behind the wheel when we're in the countryside.
" I'm here " Grayson laughed, raising a brow once he saw me in the drivers seat.
" I'm driving, I love the countryside roads " I smiled, and he nodded before closing the car door behind him.
We opened the windows all the way down, since it was boiling hot yet again.
" Hasta La Vista!! " Kendall yelled, who was currently reversing out of the campsite in her car.

We laughed, as everyone drove out of the site in their cars. We were playing symphony by Zara Larsson and Clean Bandit, while singing the lyrics at the top of our lungs.
" How long left? " Hunter asked, and I gave him a funny look.
" we only just started driving " Grayson laughed.
Hunter sighed, pulling out his phone and taking some photos. He started smiling widely at his phone, and turned it around so I could see. I glanced over at it quickly, but I was being safe while driving, don't worry! He had the photo of Grayson proposing on his screen, and I grinned from ear to ear once I saw it.
" I'm glad you guys were there " I smiled, focusing my attention back onto the road.
" it was adorable " Brandon smirked, and I nodded.
" all of the Granna fans are going to go crazy when they find out " Hunter beamed.
Then I thought, when will we announce this? I mean, I don't want to keep it from them. They're a huge part of our lives, and so is this, and I really want to share it with them as soon as possible.
Grayson placed his hand on my thigh, stroking up and down my leg comfortingly. I let out a sigh, as I hummed the music lightly and watched the road.
" So, what's the wedding plans? " Ashton said, wiggling his brows.
" we only just got engaged the other day, Ash " Grayson laughed, changing the song on his phone.
" Yeah, but do you have any dream wedding plans or something? " Ashton giggled, shrugging lightly.
" I want to get married in New Jersey, with the isle outside and the tables and stuff indoors, And I want a mainly white theme, and with some rose gold! " I confessed, taking everyone in the car by surprise.
" seems like you've got that shit down " Brandon laughed, and I giggled.
" a girl can dream, Brando " I smirked, glancing over at Grayson who was smiling happily.

As I stepped into the twins house, I felt warm and happy. Even though I love everything about camping, and I had the most amazing time, it's always nice to go back home.
" home sweet home " Ethan yelled, dropping his bags to the ground and sighing.
It was now just Ethan, Grayson and I, since everyone else had went to their own homes.
" I've got to film a video for tonight, so I'll probably just do a q&a " I said, taking my bag and walking up the stairs to Grayson's room, where I was greeted by Lisa.
" Ah!! If it isn't my soon to be daughter in law " She smirked, hugging me tighter than ever.
" I'm so excited! " I smiled, looking into her watery eyes with a smile.
" Me too! Any plans? " She asked, pushing open the door and helping me unpack.
" for the wedding? " I asked, and she nodded quickly.
" I would really love a white and rose gold theme " " I explained, and she almost jumped up and down from excitement.
" that sounds beautiful, darling! Now I'll leave you to pack, I'll send Grayson up to help you " She reassured me, leaving the room soon after.
I really love Lisa, she's like that mother figure that I never had. And it's funny how she'll actually be my mother in law soon ;)

I heard a few footsteps making their way towards the bedroom, and soon later the door swung open, revealing a tired looking Grayson.
He smiled once he saw me, pulling me into his arms and kissing my forehead.
" I'll unpack, you film your video " He smiled, placing yet another kiss on my head.
I nodded, grabbing the camera from the corner of the room and setting it up quickly. Once I'd adjusted the lighting, I sat in the centre of the bed, adjusting my hair so it didn't look as messy. Just as I was about to begin, I felt Grayson sit beside me.
" You joining? " I laughed, and he nodded quickly.
I pulled out my phone, tweeting #askgranna for my twitter followers to see and send in questions. We also decided that at the end we'd announce the engagement, sounds like a plan, right?

" Hey guys! I'm here with someone you all know very very well... Gray!! " I laughed, pulling him towards me so that he was now in shot too.
" Granna is back at it baby " Grayson smirked, and I cringed.
He laughed at me, kidding my cheek. I wiped it away playfully, and he rolled his eyes.
" anyway, we're doing a q&a, so let's go! " I giggled, scrolling through my phone for questions.
" Laura Timmons asks, will there be a squad tour part 2? " Grayson read it aloud, and I smirked.
" maybe, we'll see " I winked, thinking about all of the future squad my friends and I have planned.
" this question is from Abigail Landers, and she asks... When can we expect some Granna babies? " I laughed as I read it, looking at Grayson who smirked.
" Guys, we have an announcement " He said, coughing to grab my attention.
" we're pregnant!! " He shouted, making me burst out laughing.
" he's kidding by the way " I reassured the viewers, knowing that if I didn't say that then everything would go crazy.

We answered some more questions, and a lot of them were pretty funny.
" Cassidy Dolan asks, what is your favourite TV show right now? " I read, thinking of my answer as I said it.
" the walking dead, for sure! " Grayson said.
" mine is definitely dance moms, you guys all know that " I laughed.
" Guys, when we first started dating, Anna made me watch dance moms... it's actually okay, not going to lie " Grayson said, making me smile.
" Next question! " I giggled, handing Gray my phone so he could read it out.
" Paige Dean says, What would you call your future children? We all want some Granna kids!! " Grayson said, laughing at the final sentence.
I thought about it, and the room fell silent for a second. I'm guessing Grayson was thinking too, so I looked at him and chuckled.
" I like the name Alex " I said, and he nodded.
" yeah, Alex for a boy... " He began, going silent again while he thought.
" Take your time! " I said sarcastically, and he rolled his eyes playfully.
" Darcie for a girl, or Daisy " He pointed his finger to the camera, nodding his head.
Those were actually quite cute names, and I couldn't help but smile when he said them.
" that was the final question you guys, but we do have an announcement " I smiled, looking at Grayson who had a huge grin on his face.
" we're engaged!!' " he shouted excitedly, as I held my hand up to show the ring.
" I'm so so excited, and I'm super happy that we get to share this experience with you all! We love you, bye!! " I yelled, ending the video soon after.
It was a pretty quick and rushed announcement, but we'll definitely go more into it another time. Maybe in a live stream, or in another Granna collab.
As soon as we finished filming, Grayson pulled me into a hug, kissing my lips softly.
" I love you " He whispered, and I smiled at the words.
" I love you too " I said.
