We live on Earth, a place crowded with about 7 billion people all sorted in 195 countries. Every single human on this Earth is different and everyone is unique and special on their own way. We have many kinds of people: poor and rich, slim and fat, black and white and yellow, Christians and Muslims and other religions and they, they don't get along. Is that okay? No, it's not. And do you know why is that not okay? Well that's a hard question and it can't be answered in a short story, but even bigger and even more important question is why don't they get along. You are confused right now, aren't you. And do you happen to know why are you confused? Let me tell you. You don't know the answer on that question because you never think about it, you never ask yourself but hey why is it that I'm black for example and some white people do not treat me well? Start thinking about it, because it is an very important question. Today, people are divided based on their religion, their skin color, their style, their hair, their family and many other things. People are judged just by how they appear. I'll show you how that looks through the following text.

It's the first day of school. It's a new, blank chapter of the book for all the kids and teens, and so it is for Emma, a thirteen years old girl who is about to start 8th grade. Her parents got a new job in New York so she had to move with them all the way from Dubai. She is a Muslim girl and she in nervous to go to a new school because she doesn't know anyone.
After the first day of school her mom asked her 'How was your first day of school, honey?' and Emma answered 'It was good.' 'Okay, and did you make any new friends?' asked her mom. 'No, not really. Everyone talked bad things about me just because I'm from Dubai and wear hijab.' said Emma and ran to her room crying. Her mom didn't know what to do.

As the days were passing by, Emma got more and more hate every day. She was very sad. Homework was her only getaway. One day, her science teacher said that everyone has to do a project with a partner due tomorrow. Emma started panicking. She didn't know what to do because nobody hangs out with her. Luckily, teacher made pairs so that no one would be left behind. Emma had to make a project with Annie. That's it. Emma had to make a new friend. She wasn't happy, because Annie is one of those girls who makes fun of her for wearing hijab. Annie came to Emma and told her that she can come to her house after school so that they can make a project. Emma just said 'Okay.' and left. It was after school and Emma went with Annie to Annie's house. On their way they didn't say a word. At Annie's house, they just made a project and didn't talk much either. Emma called her mom and asked her if she could pick her up. While she was waiting for her mom to come and pick her up, Annie came to her and asked her 'What is your favorite thing to do?' Emma answered her 'I like to watch YouTube videos.' 'Really, I like to watch YouTube videos, too!' said Annie. And the conversation continued. The more they talked, the more they found out about each other and shortly after they became best friends. They still are best friends, even though Emma moved back to Dubai. They can't spend a day without texting each other.

See, don't judge people before you meet them. Don't judge people just because they are different than you. And do you know why? Because WE ARE ALL HUMAN BEINGS, no matter what skin color we have, no matter what religion we are and no matter how we look. It's very important to know and always remember that we are all human beings. And we still don't have an answer on why people don't get along. That's because there is no answer. It's just a creation of our brain, it's how we see this world and people around us. So, tomorrow, don't go out and hate on people that are different, don't talk or think bad about them. You don't know their story, you just know that they exist. You can not choose how you will be born or what is going to happen to you on your journey called life, and it's the same with other people. We do NOT have an option to choose our skin color, but we have an option to choose how are we going to act and if we are going to be monsters that hate and attack others different from them, or are we going to be humans that don't care if their classmate is other religion or has a different skin color. We have to appreciate everyone, no matter what.

P.S. this story is NOT meant to hate on someone or to make fun of someone.
