~Chapter One (Meeting Alex)~

•Gary's P.O.V.•

"So guys, what do you want to do this weekend?" Mark asked Robbie,Jason,Howard and me. "I don't know about you guys,but I have to stay at my house. I am going to finish writing this song that I've started writing on." I said to them. "Oh okay, that's fine Gazza." Mark said to me. I opened up my locker and I grabbed my text books in it and I closed my locker and I said bye to the guys and I walked down the hallway to my first period class. I opened up my text book to review what we learned and I collided with someone. I fell to the ground and my text book flew out of my hand as I tried to catch myself. I looked up to see who it was and it was a girl that I have never seen here before. She was probably new. She was gorgeous. She has dark brown hair that is a little longer than shoulder length but not much. She has greenish grey eyes and she was wearing black skinny jeans with a non-see through white button up and black and white converse. She had on black eyeliner and grey eyeshadow that made her eyes more noticeable. I quickly jumped to my feet and I reached out a hand and she grabbed my hand and I pulled her up. "Sorry, are you alright?" I asked her. "Oh, I am fine. Sorry." She said to me. "Your fine. Are you new here?" I asked her. "Yes, today is my first day here. Do you know where this class is?" She asked me handing me a slip of paper that had all of her classes on it. "Yes, it looks like you are in all of my classes." I said smiling to her. "Oh, do you mind if I walk with you?" She asked me kindly. "I don't mind at all." I said smiling at her. "Thank you. Whats your name?" Mage asked me. "Gary Barlow. You?" I said to her. "Alex Colton." She replied with a warm smile. I smiled back at her. We reached our class and we were the first ones in there. "Mr.Lawrence this is Alex. She is new to our school." I said to my teacher smiling at Alex. "Yes, hello Miss Colton. Take a seat anywhere." He said smiling at her. She turned around and I patted the desk beside me. She smiled at me and sat down in the desk. Every other student came into the classroom and they all looked at Alex. I could tell that all of the guys thought that she is pretty. Mr.Lawrence introduced Alex and everyone seems to like her.

I sat down at the lunch table that the guys and I always sit at and the guys sat down by me. "Hey Alex how about you and me go on a date tonight?" I heard a guy say to Alex and I turned to see a guy trying to kiss Alex. I quickly get up and jog over to them. Just as I reached them Alex slapped the guy who's name is Max. "You little....." Max said as he held his cheek. He reached up to slap her back but I quickly grabbed his wrist. "Touch her and it won't be good for you." I said to Max. Max just glared at me before he left. "Thanks Gary." Alex said to me. "Hey, that's what friends do for each other,right?" I said smiling at her and she smiled right back. "Right."
