I've never really been good with goodbyes, but saying goodbye to my 5th foster home this year, was the easiest thing I've ever done. It's not that I didn't like them, but knowing that I get to go live with my real brother, makes leaving them feel like the best thing that could happen.
I've been in foster homes since I was 5, it's a long story of how it happened, but let's just say my mom had a drug problem, and my dad, well he isn't with us anymore. But that's besides the point. The point is, for for the first time, in a very long time, I'll have freedom to do whatever I please, I won't have to worry about my foster parents throwing me away, like always, going from home to home. I know I finally have a place to call my own.
I'm currently on a plane, heading to California. I keep trying to think of what it'll be like when I get there, but I think I'm just way too excited. I haven't seen my brother for about 2 years. When he turned 16 he left foster care, and me. I don't blame him tho, I would've done the same.
We used to be Bestfriends, me and him, and I hope it'll go back to the way it was before he left. Knowing us, it will. God I've missed him

As I got off the plane, and went into the airport, that's when I saw him. He didn't change a bit. He was still as tall as a giant, with his light brown hair that swooped just above his eyebrows, and his bright blue eyes, that could kill any girl in an instant. He was the guy version of beauty.
"COLBY" I yelled, he moved his head so that he was looking at me, and his face rapidly turned into a huge smile. I quickly ran towards him. When I got to him, I gave him a huge hug, that felt like it lasted for years.
"Long time no see sis" He said as he gave me one last tight squeeze. The smile from when I first saw him was still platered on my face. It was my first genuine smile that I've had in a long time.

After grabbing my suit cases, we loaded them into his car, and just like that, we were off.
The car ride was pretty silent, mostly because I was too busy admiring the view that my eyes had Laird eyes on to talk. California was beautiful, it was sunny, and the palm trees were swaying in the breeze, it was definitely way better then Canada. And not to mention way warmer.
"So before we get to the house, you should know that it won't just be me and you living there" he looked at me like Id be mad, but I didn't expect anything less.
"How many people do you live with?" I didn't look at him when I asked, the venue was too pretty to look away from, I could definitely get used to seeing it everyday.
"Just one, but there's always people over, you know me" I could tell he was smiling when he said that, which made me smile.
"So I'm guessing there's lots of party's too then?" This time I looked at him. Ive never liked party's, I'd rather just sit around with a few friends and hangout. And Colby knew that too.
"Well yea, kinda, but nobodys allowed upstairs when we have one, so you'll be safe up there" He gave me a sweet smile, then focused his attention back to the road.
From there on it was complete silence, other then the radio playing and the wind blowing through the windows.
--------------
After 10 more minutes of driving, we finally pulled into a driveway, it took me a few seconds to really take in what I was looking at. The house was huge. There was a balcony at the very top of the house, that probably had a great view of the ocean. There wasn't much to look at, in the front of the house, but I was already excited to see the rest.
Colby helped me grab my suitcases out of the trunk of the car, and dragged them to the front of the house for me. As he opened the door, my jaw dropped. There I was ,standing with my mouth completely open, looking like some kind of animal. You'd think I had never seen a house before, but this house, was magical. I'm not even sure how my brother manages to pay for all of it.
Before I could take everything thing in I realized my brother was saying something
"Follow me, I'll show you your room" he headed toward the stairs, so I followed him untill we reached the very top. He lead me down a hallway untill he stopped at one of the doors.
"Are you ready?" He had the biggest smile on his face, and I could tell he was excited to show me.
"Just open it!!" I was trying to hold myself back from pushing him aside and opening the door myself. As he opened it my eyes went wider then they've ever been before. The room was amazing. It was painted a light blue colour, which happened to be my favorite colour. There was a huge bed that sat in the corner of the room, and a desk that was stocked with beauty supplies, and other nessesitys that a girl would need, along with a full sized body mirror on one of the walls.
I walked into the room so I could really take it all in, there was a closet that was filled with my clothes. I had shipped most of them in a week or two ago, so I didn't have to carry them all. Beside the closet was another door, which was my bathroom. It was a light pink color, and it was beautiful, I don't think I've ever reffed to a bathroom as beautiful before, weird.
I tuned around to face my brother who looked liked he was enjoying my reaction.
"Ya like?" He said chuckling a bit.
"I love" I said as I walked over to him giving him a big hug.
"I'm glad, now let's go Introduce you to my roommate" a smirk formed on his face, and I couldn't tell if it was a good thing, or if I should be scared. We are talking about my brother after all. Who knows who he lives with, could be a crackhead for all I know.
As we walked downstairs, he took me through what looked to be the living room, and I to what was the kitchen. Standing at the sink was a tall brown haired guy. I could only see his back, seeing as he was facing away from me.
"Dude" Colby waited for the guy to turn around, and when he did, I think I almost died.
This guy was gorgeous. I know I said my brother was the guy definition of beauty, but I have to say, this guy had him beat. He had these brown eyes, that were beautiful, and the way his hair swooped, was perfect, and don't get me started on the dimple. But there was something about him that made him look so firmiliar.
"I'm Crawford" his face formed a big smile, that I'm pretty sure could break girls hearts all around the world. But that's when it hit me. Why he looks so firmiliar. I've seen him all over Instagram, and Twitter.
That's Crawford Collins.
I know you're wondering why I didn't realize it right away, and to be honest with you, I'm not a huge fan of his, I mean I have nothing against him, and yea he's very attractive, but I'm just not the one to obsess over a guy, yanno?
"Becca" I said while putting a smile on my face.
This is gonna be fun...
