Proposing Is Harder Than It Looks

The Execution

The vibrating sound of an incoming message from Cisco alerted everyone to Iris's arrival.

Iris POV:
As we vibed into the Star Labs parking lot, I had a suspicious feeling and as a reporter I learnt to listen to those feelings. Why were we in the parking lot? Cisco can vibe anywhere he wants to. And why is he smiling like its his birthday and he's expecting a surprise? Also why did we just decide to go out on a sunshine twin day out? And most importantly Barry hasn't called or texted the whole day!

Cisco's dumb smile looked like it was gonna break off his face as we arrived in the hallway close to the cortex and rose petals lined the pathway.
My curiosity got the best of me and I sprinted into the cortex nearly tripping when I saw it, all around the room Irises (my flower), daisies and white Orchads; all of which are my favourite flowers.
Then I saw the most handsome thing on this planet; my boyfriend in a stunning maroon tux (Barry and his favourite colour) but to get to him I would have to pass under the bridge of red roses. When I looked to my left I saw the proud and happy faces of my family, not just my dad and Wally, my team Flash family. And then Barry, my Barry, my everything knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring.
I didnt even hear what he said before running to him and giving him the biggest kiss I could!

Barry's  POV:
I loved the stunned look on Iris's face. But what happened next I could never even have thought it would, the girl that I've loved for 15 years, the prettiest girl in the world, my Iris; practically ran; pulled me up out of my kneeling position and kissed me, so passionately and so lovingly, that I didn't care if Joe was watching. That is until he cleared his throat at which point Iris screamed "Yes, Barry, my answer will now and forever be yes! I love you so much my bear!" And all I could say is "You have always been my everything from the time I  met you, I wanna spend the rest of my life growing old with you. I love you my Flower."
