I walked outside, everything was perfect, just like it should be. The birds were chirping, the sun was shining. The grass was greener than ever. I walked into school, a big giant building with the bullies, the populars, the nerds, and everyone else. This place I lived in was called Linora.
I walked past Chris in the hallway, I've liked Chris for as long as I can remember, he has blue eyes that are clear, almost grey, he's tall and lean, with his blonde hair that he spikes up. Every time I pass him butterflies erupt in my stomach, and I start giggling.
"Hey Daysha." Chris said, smiling.
I replied saying "hey" back racing to my next class.
When school got out Chris sped towards me, but knowing I was late every single day this week. I knew I had to go home immediately.
I turned the knob as the door creeked open. I kept walking calling "mom, dad" but no reply. As I went upstairs I noticed couches were torn, drawers open. Everything was a mess almost as someone was looking for something. As I looked in my room my clothes were everywhere and the door shut behind me.
