jacobs pov
and now i head to 5th hour, science. yay.
i found my way to ally's locker and went up behind her and wrapped my arms around her
"hello beautiful" i said as i kissed her shoulder
"hey handsome " she said as she turned around to face me
"ready to head to science?" i said holding out my hand for her to take
"yep but i have to go to the bathroom so i'll be right back" she said
then she kissed me on the cheek and headed to the bathroom
i made my way through the crowded hallways and finally got to the science room
i headed to the back of the room ,where my seat is, and sat down
then the teacher started roll call
"jacob?" she said
"here"
"carson?"
"here"
"ally?"
"uh she's in the bathroom" i said to her
"oh well alrighty then. let's get started" she said clapping her hands together
"so as all of you know your final is coming up and i ho-"
*bang*
"kids hide. now" mrs. brooks said

we all immediately hid
i hid by sophie, mark and joey
mrs. brooks turned off all the lights and pushed bookcases in front of the door
*bang*
we didn't even have to ask what happened
we knew what it was
it was a gunshot
someone's loose in the school with a gun, and ally is in the bathroom

i started to stand up but joey immediately pulled me down
"what the heck are you thinking man?" he whisper yelled at me
"ally's in the bathroom by herself joey i need to get her"
"you can't. do you want to get killed?" he said
i just sank down farther on the floor and started to cry.
she could be dead
and i never got to say goodbye
i have to help her. i have to
i stood up again and walked to the door but before i could reach it mrs. brooks stopped me
"jacob what are you doing get down!" she said
"i have to get ally she's in the bathroom by herself and she needs help"
"no you can't you'll put us in danger, you'll put yourself in danger"
"it's a risk i'm willing to take"
then the door handle started rattling and someone was pounding on the door
trying to get in
"jacob get down now" mrs. brooks said
i did as she said even though i didn't want to
after awhile of just sitting there mrs. brooks got up and headed out the door
i have no clue what she is thinking
ally's pov
i was in the bathroom when i heard it
the door had no locks

i had nowhere to hide

and i was scared out of my mind

i'm currently standing on the toilet and trying not to cry too loud
and i had finally started calming down. then the door to the bathroom opened
this is it
i may die right now
without getting to say any goodbyes
i started to cry again
then i saw them
the feet right in front of my stall
"ally?" they said
"mrs. brooks?" i said
i opened the door and there she was
i flung my arms around her
"come on kiddo let's get back to the room" she said
we walked back very carefully
once we got back in the room safely, jacob ran up to me and wrapped his arms around me
i wrapped mine around his neck and didn't let go until mrs. brooks said we needed to get down
jacob sat down and i sat down next to him
i he wrapped his arms around me and i rested my head on his chest
"i was so scared" i whispered to him
"it's okay princess. your safe now. i've got you" he said

we've been in here for awhile now
and i'm super bored
we haven't heard gun shots or anything like that recently so i guess that's good
just then the door opened revealing a police officer
we all sighed in relief and got up
i held jacobs hand as tight as i could and we headed outside

this honestly kinda scared me writing it lol
