I just wanted a little kid. Y'know, one that acted like me. I thought, 'surely down at that orphanage they have at least one kid that acts like me,' sure enough. I went down there one day and there was a girl walking down the hallway, an old woman holding her arm rather tight, as if she were a prisoner who needed to be held back from fighting or running away. 'Poor kid,' I thought. I had sympathy for the little emo kid. That got me thinking. 'Little emo kid. Hey, maybe she'd make a nice dog. Wait. Richie, that's not nice...' I walked up to the little window that had a little petite girl inside. "Hey, ma'am," I said. "Yes?" She looked up from her papers, startled. "Oh, uh.. Sorry." Her eyes were widened at the sight of my makeup. "No... It's.. Fine," she said. I pointed to the hallway. "Would you happen to know who that little kid is? The one in the black?" I asked. "Oh... Elli?" She asked. "Yeah," I said, not really knowing who Elli was, but going along with it. "You want to see...Elli...?" She looked out the window at me, concerned. "If that's possible, yes," I said, getting my hopes up. "Uh... This way," the lady said, getting up.
