~one month later~

School is over.

Josh is gone.

Not gone gone.

But he's not here.

My parents left.

I have no siblings.

Josh has been telling me to eat.

I went into the kitchen.

I put a bagel in the toaster.

I glanced around the kitchen.

I had never spent time down here.

I saw a knife laying out.

Josh told me not to hurt myself.

Josh isn't here.

My old cuts faded into scars.

I picked up the knife.

I made a slit in the middle of my forearm.

I gasped.

I leaned over the sink and watched the blood fall.

That's not enough.

Another.

Another.

Another.

Another.

I stopped.

I needed Josh.

Josh doesn't love you. He thinks you're a freak.

"Stop."

I called him.

"J-josh. I need you to c-come.... N-n-now"

"I'll be right there."

I plugged up the sink and ran the water.

The sink filled up.

I was sure that the blood was gone.

I took out the plug and walked away.

The water will drain.

There was a knock at the door.

"C-come in..."

Josh looked worried.

"What happened!?"

I held out my arms.

"Oh, Tyler."

Josh lead me to his car.

"Let's go somewhere else."

We got in his car and started driving.

"Why did you do that, Tyler?"

"Why not?"

"Tyler..."

"I was in the kitchen making breakfast because you told me I should start eating and I didn't want you do be disappointed in me. I saw a knife and he told me that you don't love me and he made me do it, Josh. It wasn't me."

I started sobbing.

He pulled the car into a parking lot.

He picked me up. I like when he does that.

He carried me to a bench. I looked around a I could see a very blurry park, due to my tears.

"Oh, Tyler. I'll always love you."

I sat sideways on his lap so that I could look into those beautiful eyes of his.

Well... He did say he loved me...

"Josh...?"

"Tyler."

"Can we go home?"

"Yes."

"I love you."

"I love you too."
