I want you to know
you have saved me so many times
you are not the one i typically write to
i dedicate so much of my writing to the ones who have hurt me so much
but you are sweet as grape soda
syrup and sugary sweet
you hold no bitterness
others claim your artificiality
but you are the most real thing to me
in a world where all i have been fed is vinegar
