Chapter Nineteen

Jaehee's Pov

Why did something like this happen to me?

I had no memories of who I was nor where I came from. I didn't even remember who those boys were.

My eyelids were still too heavy for me to lift up. What was I supposed to do now? I wanted to see my surroundings, what was I laying down on but the poison made it extremely hard for me to move my muscles.

It felt like my mind was awake but my body was sleeping.

Just when I thought things were the end for me, I remembered his voice and the reassurance of his words.

"I'll be sure to save you. I promise. Wait for me, Jaehee."

I really wanted to trust him but it couldn't be helped that I still had doubts.

After laying down on this thing for too long, my back began to ached, then I heard something like a door opened, there were more than a few footsteps rushed into the room.

I had no idea who they were, the girl who was taking care of me (I think her name was Yoona) had already left like 10 minutes ago.

"For the time being, this should let the poison stop taking effect for a while, but we still need to consider changing her. We only have 30 minutes before the poison starts spreading again." The same gentle voice from before said in doubt.

"Are you sure about this?" another person said as he sighed in conflict.

They stopped talking for a moment before the guy who held my hand before replied to the uncertainties. "It's the only way to save her."

Wait, what were they going to do? What was this thing  that could stop the poison for taking effect?

Before I knew it, my body trembled in fear, I wasn't sure about they were going to do to me.

"Jaehee," I felt someone's hot breath hit against my ear, he spoke in a low whisper and sent electricity all over my body. "Please come back to me..."

Soft lips pressed against mine, the taste of his lips felt all too familiar, I knew immediately that he was the person I had given my first kiss to and I craved for more.

I wanted to kiss him a bit longer.

My hands automatically moved on their own and wrapped themselves around his neck and pulled him back down when he was about to move his face away. I pressed his lips back onto mine as I kissed him eagerly.

I felt him flinch at first but then he started kissing me back.

It felt like eternity, like we were the only two in the room and no one was there to stop us. A little too soon later, he broke away from the kiss and moved away from me. I was a bit disappointed because I didn't want the kiss to end but I guess it had to eventually.

My eyelids were no longer heavy, I was finally able to open my eyes and looked around. I saw familiar faces looking at me with anticipation but one face was a bit troubled.

Chanyeol?

Wait, I remembered them.

"Jaehee? Do you remember who you are?" The person who I believed to be Suho asked me as he went closer and took a sit on the coffee table but he never took his gaze away from me.

I sat up slowly, Luhan was next to me as he helped me to get up. I rubbed my temples and looked at Suho, "I feel a bit dizzy."

He smiled, "You've been asleep for nearly a day."

My eyes trailed from Suho to the rest of the members standing behind him. "I couldn't open my eyes nor moved my body but I heard you guys talking about a poison."

Kai sighed as he sat beside me. "I guess you heard everything. Luhan had to let you take a sip of his blood, it was the only way to stop the poison for a while."

So that was why he kissed me? I did felt some kind of liquid dripping into my mouth but I paid it no mind because all I wanted to do was kiss him.

Omg, was I always this kind of girl?

"I think we should explain everything to you." Said Kris.

Somehow, I had a bad feeling about this.
