"She's pathetic, she doesn't know how to speak up for herself."

-------------------------------------------------

I leaned in on the railing and spread out my arms with a smile on my face as I engulfed the smell of the air.

"Be careful."

I snapped my head to the side and saw a boy about my age, standing beside me.

I cocked my head to the side as I looked at him with my brows scrunched in confusion.

"Reed," he said as he lifted his right hand infront of me, his brown eyes staring at me.

I smiled and took his hands in mine and shook it.

"What's your name?," he asked with a small smile as our hands parted.

I looked up and gestured at the sky and smiled at him. He gave me a confused look before he smiled.

"Blue?," he asked quite unsure. I nodded my head at him with a small chuckle.

He laughed and moved closer to me before leaning in closer to the railing.

"So," he dragged out as he looked at me qeustionably. I looked at him and gestured for him to go on.

"Not to be rude but, are you mute?," he asked softly. I nodded my head without looking at him.

He nodded his head understandingly and looked forward.

"It's beautiful," he breathed out.

I smiled and nodded my head in agreement.

He looked at his phone with a frown and sighed. I looked at him questionably as he leaned away from the railing.

"I need to go," he said with a sad smile on his lips.

I nodded my head at him with a ile and he chuckled and shoved his phone in his pocket.

"Nice meeting you,Blue," he said as he waved.

I smiled in return with a small wave.

I stopped smiling when I saw faint white lines on his wrists.

I wanted to ask him about it but I couldn't.

He walked away. And even if he didn't I couldn't.

'I could never speak up, cause, no sound could ever leave my mouth.'
