Chapter 3
What's happening? Aiden and Damian is talking to my mom.
"Come on in. Sit on the sofa." said my mom and they followed. They sat in front of me.
"By the way, how much is the pay?" asked Aiden. It seems to that he's the only one talking. Also, they're not looking at me to boot. Well, it's not that I want them looking at me. It seems as if they're a whole new different person.
"Let's see. It'll be two thousand per month. Is that okay?" said mom looking so happy. Why the hell is she happy. She just let some stranger in the house and letting them stay.
"That'll be fine. Thank you very much.....Hey Damian, at least say thank you." said Aiden
Damian took a deep breath then looked at me for a moment before looking at my mom to say thank you. Did our eyes just met? What the hell are they planning.
"So, Aiden's your name? I'm Carrie. How old are you? I'm twenty three." What the hell! Even Carrie? What the hell is she doing flirting with Aiden? He's a monster!
"Nice to meet you. I'm Aiden and I'm twenty two............. Hey Damian, you're being rude."
Damian sighed "I'm Damian. Nice to meet all of you. By the way, I'm nineteen years old." he said and looked at me for a moment AGAIN. Are these two siblings fucking with me? Is this how they're going to torture me?
"Oh... That's nice. My daughter, Chloe, is single and is also nineteen years old." said my mom giggling. What the hell? She's giving me away!
Aiden looked at me and smirked for a second. Damian stared at me and again, his lips were moving.
Chloe....Never.....say...Aiden's.....name....
He said.
Without knowing, I stood up getting all the attention. I looked at the two of them with angry eyes.
"Why Chloe, getting tired of this?" asked Aiden
"What?" I asked
"Shall I show you something interesting? It's the theme for my new novel" he said and stood up then went behind mom.
He started choking her and mom was laughing.
"MOM! Stop it!" I shouted but Aiden continued.
I ran towards him and tried removing his hands from mom's neck. When I removed his hands, mom's already dead. Her eyes... they were only white.... I started crying loud and Aiden kept on laughing. I covered my eyes with my hands.
Then I heard Aiden's footsteps. I realized Carrie, Michael, James and Maria were still there. I stood up and ran as fast as I could towards them pushing Aiden out of the way. I covered all of them using my own body. That time, I was scared for real I was shaking but I didn't care. As long as I could protect the people I love then it'll be fine.
"Oh.... seems like the characters aren't following well my artistic novel. How could you, Chloe? You're even the main character. The one who'll slowly fall into the darkness.... Why aren't you following the novel?" he said as he slowly walks towards me.
I've never felt so scared before. I felt the urge to run away and leave my family there and let them be killed by Aiden. I controled it. But I felt my feet wanted to run but my mind and heart doesn't want to.
