The Capitol awoke with a bang on the second day in the games as Jake Wills awoke everyone with his voice on the radio and tv. "Last night was a lonely one in the arena most tributes were alone. However as sad as it is we have lost almost half of our tributes only twenty six remain. It seems to me that a lot of tributes haven't yet eaten so today is going to be tough, tributes will be hunting either the animals for food or the other tributes for there supplies. Let's see what happens!".

Adam awoke the next morning in a bush and started his day early he was desperate to find at least one of his fellow team members. He knew that I would most likely be somewhere with height so I could see everyone, this meant that I would be hard to find. However he didn't have a clue where Yasmin could be. So Adam opened up a small pot of soup and drank it. Then he made his choice, he would first look for me so he started walking and looking up in the trees.

Around 8am Yasmin awoke and she was pretty starving. She had to hunt she didn't have a choice, but first she would head to the lake for a drink, she needed water more than food. Once a nice cool drink was in her body then Yasmin would start hunting for food.

Finally with a late start start to the day I awoke at 9am, surprisingly I felt quite well rested after sleeping for eleven hours. Personally I didn't know how I slept that long I had woke up in the night a few times from fear but I managed fall back to sleep soon enough. I was high up in a tree but even I knew I couldn't live up there forever I had to come down if I was to eat and drink. However  at the same time I was too scared I was now alone with no one to protect me. If I'm spotted by another tribute I would not be able to defend myself if they attacked me, let alone if they also had a sword or blade. I also didn't know if I would have the guts to kill someone if they were not attacking me. I felt bad enough for taking Annabel's life let alone someone who was more innocent and was not trying to kill me. I had to come down eventually and I did in my own time but suddenly I herd a bleeping noise. Kind of like a phone ringing and I didn't understand what the noise was. But as I looked up from the ground a small grey box was flying down to me with a small parachute attached to it. I jumped to grab it and I opened up the box to find a note from Hilary with a small pot of soup.

The note said

Yasmin= Lake
Adam = high ground
Stay fed love H

I knew that Hilary was helping me find Adam and Yasmin. But before looking for them I drank the soup given to me as I said thank you to sky with a smile after finishing it. I took out a arrow and placed it in my bow ready to aim as I started to walk searching for my teammates. Even during the day this was a hard task to do, though I had an advantage over Adam and Yasmin I would still struggle, the arena wasn't a small place and u didn't have a map to help me.

Yasmin sat alone by a bush near the Lake she was starving but she kept drinking from the lake to keep herself feeling full until she could find food. However she was not alone she was being watched by a boy. As she got up picking up her sword she looked at the water at her reflection. But as she stared for a few seconds a big splash hit Yasmin as Jack Payne jumped into the water and immediately slicing Yasmin across the stomach. She screamed from the pain and retaliated with a cut to the upper chest. "Your going down you don't have your friends with you!" He called. "Doesn't mean I'm not strong" she yelled as she cut his chest again. He whacked his sword against Yasmin's knocking it out of her hand. Yasmin wasn't prepared to die, even when Jack smiled at her. He swung for her but she dodged his swing. She dodged another swing and she dived into Jack forcing him to the floor. She punched him twice to the face before he cut her back with his sword. He rolled her over as she held back from the pain. She held his wrists trying to hold back his attacks. He dropped his sword as he didn't think it could help anymore. He over powered Yasmin and punched her to the face. Suddenly Jack gasped and he stopped attacking Yasmin, and he collapsed on top of her. She breathed heavily and pushed him off her as the cannon boomed. She looked up seeing Adam. "I thought you needed some help" he told her as he held his bloody sword. "Thanks where's Jake?" She said laying down. "I've been looking all morning but I ran out of water in our bottles so I came to the lake to fill them up and I herd fighting, so I checked it out and found you. "Thanks he took me by surprise" she explained. "Here I'll give you some bandages to stop the bleeding". Adam helped Yasmin take off her jacket and he wrapped the bandage around her stomach and held it together with a safety pin. The bandages were half gone now but Adam didn't notice as he put them back in the bag pulling out the bottles to fill up. "We must find Jake" Yasmin called as Adam filled up the bottles. Suddenly the cannon boomed and they both gasped and looked to the sky, seeing Joey Kevin from Area 10 in the sky. "Yes and fast I don't want to see his face in the sky"."where would he be Adam?". "High ground is my betting so he can't be seen". "Let's go then!". "You must be starving have you eaten?" Adam asked before getting up. "No I haven't I am hungry". "Here have this pot" Adam replied handing her a large pot of soup, which she drank half off.
