The sound of waves from the beach lulled you into a blissful trance. You felt nothing but content as your fingers intertwined with his, so tenderly yet with so much love. You stared, mesmerised, at the gradually descending sun in front of you, over the calm sea.
However, the sunset in front of you and Jesse wasn't the most pretty sight in this moment - you couldn't take your eyes off him. All of his features were just.. right, and you couldn't believe someone so perfect would ever choose you, but he did.
You didn't exchange words, but they weren't needed. The feeling of his arms around your waist, along with the warmth of his breath against your neck on this chilly night were enough.
He placed soft tender kisses on your hair and neck, treating you as if you were china. He muttered sweet nothings under his breath as he did so, and in that moment it seemed like nothing mattered anymore.
