Chapter 1
Dear Blue
Does it feel weird for me to address you like that? I find it weird, but then again you probably don't remember me. But it's to be expected, I'm just me, the boring loner with no one. Do you ever think of me? I doubt it, if you did it would be a complete aberration. Do you like that word? It's my word of the day. It means something out of the ordinary, I like it, but there won't be much use for the word for me. You used to be my aberration, but all good things must come to an end, right? this letter will be short, they're all going to be short, but I know you have a short attention span, so that will work out good, won't it? I have to go, Blue, it's late and I have school, not that I care.
Love always,
Emmy
I folded the letter with perfect grace, and slipped it into the plain white envelope and sealed it with a sliver of tape. After tucking it away safely, I crawl into bed and stare at my ceiling, waiting for the dark abyss of nothingness to over take me.
