I never thought I would remember, or at least try to of the memories of that place. Its feels like a burden, like it should be forgotten, unlike "Him." I will never forget what happened back way-when that night happened, and I now intend to remember the tragedy's, the horrors, the lessons I learned.
My name is Max, I am 15. For awhile, I had such a fascination for horror. I'd draw for most of my day; horror, scary beings in the night, and most of all, abandoned buildings. I loved the concept and reality of abandoned buildings, I just couldn't get it out of my head; I would watch videos, of just people, following their dreams, and exploring the unknown past of places. It always was interesting to me.
Lucky, I wasn't the only 14 year old, everyday kid to share my likes. While the problem of grades in school of course, I also had a difficult time making friend's. It just seemed like there weren't very many people to have the same interests as me. Good thing for me, I found people who also like horror and exploring abandoned places! First off, is Kitt. I met her in the third grade on the first day of lunch. I dropped my sketch book, and to my surprise, someone actually picked it up for me. I looked at her, giving a worried look, that said, "Please. Don't open that." She opened my book, and saw the horror and doodles I had drawn. My face glowed red in embarrassment, hoping she wouldn't make fun of what I drawn. Surprisingly enough, she said nicely, "I love this art you made! I love horror as well!" She then grabbed her book bag, unzipped it and pulled out another sketchbook. She opened hers and I saw her amazing art! I knew we were ment to be friends.
Richard is quite the fellow, strange at times, but an amazing person! The day we ment, was around the end of fourth grade. I stopped by the library at school, only to pick up some more horror stories to read. I walked down the row of shelfs, and a guy walked down the otherside of the row, and stopped where I was at. He asks me, "You like horror?" "Well of course!" I said with proud. The dude then nods and says, "I absolutely love horror books. They're my favorite books to read!" I said that's cool, and we both talked about our love of horror on the way out from school that day.
Keaton, just an amazing person. Back around, fifth grade or so, we had to get partners in Science class, for some experiment. Its been so long, I forgot what the assignment even was! Anyway, the teacher gave us partners. I heard my name called, and dreaded that I wouldn't get an Ass for an partner. I heard the name Keaton, and saw who the guy was. He was the tall kid in class, and wasn't the talker. We then had to do a paper, about ourselves, and give them to our new table-mate. I handed Keaton mine, and he did the same for me. I saw he put down "Horror" for an interest, and he then said unexpectedly, "So, I see you like Horror as well. Maybe this whole partnership shit won't be as lame as I thought." And we both grew to be friends.
