Come show me your true colors
Play with all my colors
Mix them, arrange them
Since you never seem to get it
Since I'm always the one to repeat it
Don't hide what you think I'm missing
It's only showing how much of me your missing
Primary stage was simple, sweet
Secondary stage felt weird, risky
Tertiary stage got complicated
Thinking the basics was all I needed
Not knowing it took more than what you revealed

A sign of PAINt running from under my eyes
You'll sketch anything just to draw your lies
Bleeding of your love
Just a dime amount would be enough
My tears turned our colors water-based
Helped wash my pain, not the lies you made
After a while, the colors started to fade
Your pride was all I could take
Seeing pain I've never felt?
Or feeling pain I've never seen?
Your descriptious ways of superego
Black, red. Bad luck; or devil.
Why not white? A color that's different
That's not on the color wheel
But has so much peace to give.
Maybe if you had more highlights
We could see more colors of white
A sense of freedom
This is my only conviction
Maybe, I'll have to be alone
To see those hues on my own

Primary stage, you sketch excuses
Secondary stage, you draw distance
Tertiary stage, I was the fool of your other pest
Those other pictures that pulled your attention
Even though mine is the only mural
You praised small portraits with fingerprints
They're same finger prints is how I knew it
Their artistic skills looked childish just as you are
Your very lucky I have a heart.
