"Pru!" I heard my mom call from downstairs. It's Monday, so you can probably imagine my disgust. I go to school at East Bay, where there are more freaks than normal people! P.S I'm one of those freaks.
"PRU!"
"I'm coming!"
I tumble my way out of bed and blindly choose an outfit to wear. I'm not very picky about my fashion choices, it's just not that important to me. I head downstairs so my mom can stop her incessant yelling and grab a piece of toast before I go back upstairs.
I try to get a brush through my knotted blue and purple hair but nobody has bed-head like I do.
I grab last nights homework and tell my mother goodbye and I'm on my way to walk across the street where, what do you know is my high school, East Bay High.
"Hey freak!"
"Ew, what is she wearing?"
"Look at her hair."
As all of these comments are thrown my way, I take it, smile, and just try to make it through another day at East Bay.
I make it to my light blue, rusted, locker which for three years has had the same word written on it "LOSER"
I slowly open it, bracing myself for whatever dirt, goo, or raccoon will fly out of it, but it's empty. For once it's empty.
"What's up loser" I turn to see my best friend Ashton standing with his floppy curls and crooked smile, and let's not forget his nerdy glasses that I love so much.
"Hey jerk!" I say as I slam my locker door shut.
