The Chosen Ones: The Staff of Water

Prolouge

                          In the beginning, the gods noticed that man was becoming too greedy, they would sacrifice lives to gain the property of others. The gods realized that none would listen to them, for they felt they needed to see the gods to behold them. So the gods agreed to create four weapons: Hammer of Earth, Dagger of Air, Staff of Water, and Sword of Fire. They gave these to worthy humans, two men and two women,  to return people to faith, and create peace. They were called the Chosen ones. But one of the Chosen Ones desired the ability to control all the world. He secretly devised a plan to murder the other Chosen Ones and gain power. 

                           The Contoller of Air lived on Mount Athos, with her husband and child. On the fifth day after her child's birth she was slaughtered. The child disappeard. The Dagger, stolen.

                           The Controller of Water lived in Crater Lake, with her husband and two children. When she heard of her friends death, she sent her children to live in homes on remote islands. After this was done she faced the murderer, and was killed, for with the Dagger he proved to be incredibly strong.

                            The Controller of Fire lived in the Depths of Mount Vesuvius, with his wife and child. After sending away his child as his friend did, the murderer arrived. Feeling brash, the murderer grabbed The Controller of Fire's wife, and slit her throat, spat on the body and said"She was a worthless anyway." 

                            Out of rage, The Controller of Fire released the full potential of his weapon. The force was so strong it blew the top off his home. The murderer tried to do the same but did not have the passion. For five days they battled, creating showers of ash that fell to the city below, terrorizing the people. On the fifth day the ash cleared, revealing The Controller of Earth to be the murderer. The Controller of Fire pierced his opponent through the heart. As the twisted form of the Controller of Earth began to fall, he swore vengence on the Controller of Fire and said "My kin will destroy your kingdom. And its' future ruler."

                             The Controller of Fire took up the stolen weapons and hid them, so when one of The Chosen Ones kin found it, The world would be at peace.
