Chapter 1: The Cursed House

(Its my first time of publishing a story so i really hope you enjoy reading)

Chapter 1:

Everyone is scared from the dark, you always imagine mosters under your bed or in the closet but you never know what's really in the dark because you were too scared to find out. This little boy didnt know what he was getting his self into and this is how the story began.

There was a 12 year old boy named Charlie who had no friends in his old town, he is a very lonely boy who loved monsters and was into fiction stories, his dream was to meet a monster and to get away from the real life, well as they say: be careful what you wish for.

Charlie's family moved to a new town hoping to find a better life for their son, they moved into this very old and dusty house which was filled with spider webs and cracked floor.

They didnt like the house but they couldnt afford anything else at the time so they just tried to adjust. When the family tried to unpack their stuff, they noticed the whole neighborhood staring at them like they have seen a ghost, they ignored them and kept unpacking their stuff.

Charlie was in his room trying to finish the book that he was reading, suddenly he heard a sound of a person whispering his name, he was a bit scared but he ignored the sound and kept reading hoping that it was just his imagination playing tricks on him.

Charlie was in the last chapter and suddenly the door went open really hard that his parents ran to check if he was okay and to see what happened, he told them what happened but they just thought that he was lying trying to get their attention.

After what happened Charlie went out of the house to check the neighborhood and to see if he can find a secret place just for him to hang out after school.

He was kinda happy that happened because he really wants to be special, he wants something unnormal to happen to him, special is good but not when its scary. As kids we all believe in monsters but he had an obsession on them, he was especially into ghosts, the most scary kind. No wonder why he had no friends at all.

At 6 pm Charlie had to return to the house, he was really excited to go and check the place out. There was an old room that the man who sold them the place asked them not to go in for any reason, this room was locked and the key is not with the man! The key for this room has been lost for almost 60 years!

This right there got Charlie's attenion and has got him really curious about whats in that room. His parents insisted not to go near that room and ofcourse Charlie had to promise but curiousity has made him think about breaking that promise.

After everyone was in bed, He went to the kitchen to get some water because he couldnt sleep, he missed his old house and his old neighborhood.

The kitchen's lights were going on and off but he thought that the house still had some electricity problem but what he didnt know that when he went to have a walk his parents already brought the cable guy and he fixed that problem....
