~Julias POV~

I have always buried myself in my studies, to escape home problems. I have never gotten the highest grades, but I try to get at least straight B's. Right now i'm a Junior in high school, i'm taking two advance classes and Chemistry and Algebra II. I have never really had time for a boyfriend, but I have dreamed of having one. I have a great friend group, I love them all, but we hardly ever hang out. We are into being nerds and trying our hardest at school. I mean we all have one goal, college.

On Monday I drag myself out of bed at 6 get ready and head to school. My first class is Photo with a crazy nut all teacher I swear she's always drunk. Then I have Chem with a teacher who can't teach. When Chem is over, I go to my locker and grab my research books for HOTA (my advance history class). Right as I shut my locker the bell rings, I don't need to be late for class.

As i'm running downstairs to class, I run into the most popular guy in school. My books fall to the ground and I fall down.

In the process of standing up I say, "Sorry I'm late for class and I wasn't paying attention. Are you ok?"

The tall, tan, muscular, blue eyed, brown hair, most perfect boy says, "Ya i'm fine. The main question is are you ok?"

omg he actually cares if i got hurt, "Ya i'll be fine."

He laughs then says, "Your Julia right?"

Wait he knows my name? How? "Yes and i'm very late for class, so i need to go." I grab my books and head to class.

As I'm sitting in HOTA Im trying to read my books and write notes, but I still cant wrap my mind around what just happened. I always over think everything, Yes he knew my name, but that doesn't mean anything. Before I knew it the bell rung for lunch.

I head to the lunch room and save a big table for me and my friends. As I'm sitting waiting for ,y friends, he walks over to me and sits at the table.

He asks, "Why are you sitting alone?"

In that very moment Emma sits down. "See I'm not alone."

"ok for a moment there I thought you were a lonely nerd, but you have a whole group of nerds to hang with."

"Do you really think nerds wouldn't have friends?"

Emma is just sitting there awkwardly and shes really confused. Then all my other friends come over.

He says, "Well I've watched movies were nerds don't have friends."

"Your basing your opinion on movies, Wow."

"Someones sassy."

"Ya it blows my mind how unintelligent you sound right now."

"Well you don't know me so don't judge me."

"So are we gonna have a sass war or are you going to leave me a lone?"

In that moment he gives me his number and says, "I like sass. Text me."

I'm just sitting there, what just happened?
