"Bye mum" I say as I give her a hug. I am really going to miss her. I handed my luggage to the people putting the stuff on the train.
"Lily make sure you write to me ok."
"Yes of course i will."
"Promise."
"Promise." I say as I get on the train I wave good bye and I watch as she quickly leaves the platform and I try to find an empty cabin, I found one pretty easily because my mother wanted to arrive early, probably because she didn't want to interact with the witches and wizards.
I had been sitting in my cabin reading my favourite book in peace until I saw a girl with olive skin and brown bushy hair open the door
"hey there do you mind if I sit here I can't seem to find my friends"
"sure"
"ohh by the way my name is Hermione Granger nice to meet you"
"my name is Lily Dursley nice to meet you too"
"I am sorry my have I met you before your name seems familiar"
"no, it must just be a common name" she might know Harry he must of talked about how my parents and brother treat him but I don't mention it scared that she might hate me because of it.
"You must be in your first year I don't remember seeing you last year"
"yeah I am you could say I am a bit nervous"
"don't be you will find that you will have lots of fun"
"thanks although you look a bit worried what's bothering you" I ask wondering if she is alright
"yeah I am just worried about my two friends Ron and Harry I didn't see them on the platform and Harry didn't reply to my letters all though out the holidays I hope he is alright"
"they were probably just arrived later and might be sitting in another cabin do you, want to go look for them"
I ask worried as well hoping Harry is alright
"no it's all good you are probably right"
For the rest of the train ride me and Hermione talked about the books she liked and she also informed me about all the classes and what to expect. I couldn't wait to get to Hogwarts and to get sorted.
