The Boys In The Band

/The song is what Levy sings for the competition while playing the guitar. Also, Levy, Lucy, Gray, Juvia, Natsu, and Gajeel are 19. Erza, Mira, Jellal, and Laxus are 20. /

Gajeel's POV

I sigh as I sit on the couch as I wait with my cat Pantherlily as I wait for the rest of the band to get here. We did a competition for the best girl to sing a song. If we like her then we will give her four tickets to come and visit us and then she will sing in stage with us. It was Laxus idea. I sigh as I pet Lily. He purrs as Salamander comes in with his blue cat. Jellal and Gray sit down as Laxus comes over.

"Alright. Everyone ready?"

We all mutter yes as he puts the first competitor's tape in.

The first girl pops up and I sigh.

"Hey. Name's Gem. I know you are going to like me," she says.

She is wearing too much makeup it is ridiculous. She starts to sing as I cover my ears as the other follow. Laxus stops her as we start to listen to another on.

"When will This me over," I groan.

All the others were worse or as bad as Gem.

"Calm down. We have one more," Laxus says as we groan. "And I think she will win."

He puts the tape on as I scuff. I look at the TV to see a blue hair girl pop up. Her hazel eyes look at us as she smiles sweetly. She is wearing blue jeans and a black T-Shirt that have our band name on it. She fix the guitar on the lap as she looks into the camera.

"Hi! My name is Levy McGarden. I am 19 years old and you are my favorite band! I'm going to be singing Mean Girls by Rachel Crow. Enjoy," she says as she smiles.

I look in awe as she starts to sing. It is angelic like. And she is playing the guitar too! She gotta be the one! I gotta meet her! The video ends as Laxus smirks.

"I guess Gajeel likes her," he says as I look at him.

"So what?"

"Is she the winner," Laxus ask us.

"Yup," we say at the same time.

"Great! Now I can tell her and I can see my girlfriend," Laxus says as he smiles. "And it's not Levy. It's Mira. I know Levy is single so you have a chance at her Gajeel."

I blush lightly at his statement. Everyone smiles and nudge me slightly.

"Alright! I'll send her the letter so she and her friends should be here in three days!"

I wonder what Shrimps likes...

Levy's POV

My alarm goes off as I shut it off. I sigh as I get up. I yawn as I get dress and head to my kitchen to eat breakfast. I hum as I make my breakfast. When I finished I sit down at my table and eat my pancakes and bacon. I finish and clean my plate as I go to check if I got any mail. I gasp as I pull out a letter from the competition that my friends made me enter. I grab the rest and rush into my house. I open is and read it over 10x as I start to jump around and squeal like a little girl.

"YES!! I DID IT!!! I WON I WON!!!! I GOTTA TELL EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!"
