Vega's heart was pounding rapidly in his chest as he walked side-by-side the black-clad robot. He felt his palms shivering with anxious excitement, his head throbbing intently with deep thoughts. He didn't know what to think about first. It bothered him.

Aero couldn't help but smirk at the male next to him. He walked quick, as if he was trying to poke fun at the boy.

Neither of them had no clue what to say. Aero would come up with a snide remark while Vega would stutter shyly and not know how to reply. That was how it worked between them, but they both desired their company with a never ending depth.

Attempting to break the awkward silence, Aero spoke up.

"So, Vega," he began. "What are you going to do while you're here? Any special plans? Ambitions? Anything you want to do or be in particular?"

That was a question that made Vega think for a moment. He didn't know any complete answers to Aero's question, but he needed to respond quickly in order to seem more used to life there. His feet clacked against the ground with ease as he thought.

"Well," Vega mumbled, "I'm considering possibly just being a regular soldier. Maybe just being in a fleet, like a drone or something. A standby, maybe. Anything is fine, honestly. I'm here, and since I'm here, I'm willing to put up with anything at all costs."

"That's always a good thing, you know. It's nice, knowing that someone is willing to participate," Aero said. His screen dimmed as they began edging closer to a pair of large doors.

Vega nodded slowly at Aero before he glanced at the tall doors. They were unusually tall: built frames and interesting glass windows filling them. Black. They matched the halls and the floor, their dark color reflecting off the ceiling.

"Do you want to go in first?" Vega asked curiously, his gaze returning to Aero. He licked his lower lip with his previous nervousness, a tiny grin approaching his face as his cheeks flushed as well. His shakiness was never this noticeable until now, for some reason. He apparently had a fear of being in front of large groups of people.

"I kinda have to, don't I?" Aero responded with a rather dark and devious grin, his screen brightening playfully at Vega. The dark tint disappeared as he busted through the doors, strutting proudly into the room with Vega following closely behind.

The isle was long and seemed never ending. People from all angles watched the two beings tread closer to a slender and oval-shaped table, which seemed to be a meeting place. Many chairs were on both sides of the table, which also stretched halfway across the entire room. Alistair sat at the head of the table, looking down it at the approaching boys.

The older man grinned over at Aero and Vega. His expression seemed sly, as if he was keeping something away from the boys. He licked his lips at the blink of an eye, his voice raising slightly but calmly.

"Come here, you two. Sit next to me, one of you on each side," his smirk turned wider, but a look out doubt was hidden deep in his eyes.

And, they did so. Aero took a seat on the right side of Alistair, next to the window, while Vega sat on the left. They were both facing each other, their stomachs meeting with the table. Aero waved fiendishly at Vega and giggled mischievously.

Vega held back a small giggle, his eyes brightening at the bot.

It was a moment before other people began entering the room, sitting at the other end of the table to fill up the empty space. Whispers flooded the area and the entire room as more and more people began to seat themselves.

It was about fifty people that were there in total. There would probably be tons of people that decided not to show up, but Vega didn't say anything. It wasn't best to assume, of all things.
