I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock ringing down my ear. You know what that means, it's time for hell. School, I mean school. Ugh! I slowly get out of bed and put my uniform on before rushing down to get breakfast with my brother Jimin. I see him sat down in the kitchen waiting for me with a bowl of cereal. "Hey Kenzie, you're gonna have to hurry if you don't want to be late okay!" My brother is honestly a life saver when it comes to school, I would be late everyday if it wasn't for him. Jimin is 3 years older than me and looks after me no matter what. I guess you could call that over protective but I'm used to it. I finished my food and sprinted out the door heading to school, when all of a sudden I bump into someone. "I'm so so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." I apologised as I looked up. It was a boy. Now let my tell you something and me and boys. I'm a complete wreck! I can hardly speak without stuttering around them and it doesn't help that this boy is so cute! His dark eyes seem to stare right through my soul as I stand here speechless. He smiles at me and speaks. "Hey, it's okay. I wasn't looking where I was going either." He says with a shy little smile whilst rubbing the back of his neck. I apologise again before dashing away from him and towards school.
I get to the gate to see my best friends Molly and Lizzie stood there waiting for my. I run up to them with a smile on my face. "Hey guys thanks for waiting" I say to them because usually the leave me as I can be late. "Your lucky we did Kenzie, we only have 5 minutes before the bell rings, let's go" Molly scolds me as she pulls me wrist into the entrance of my school, Riverbank high.
