Chapter Five

~Eve's POV~

What perverts! I can't believe them..whatever.. I want to get a snack before I go to bed.

I snuck into Dakota's cuboard full of his snacks an reached to the back, where he kept his flies.

I poured some into a bowl and put the rest away. Then I went into the living room and turned on the TV. It was playing I Love Blocks by CupQuake. I started to crunch on flies.

"Hey Ev-what are you eating!?" Someone behind me asked. I looked backwards, it was Dakota. Crab-O-La!

I hid the bowl behind me, "Kitty-Oh's" I said suspiciously.

He all of a sudden hopped over me onto my lap and smatched the bowl. He turned in my lap to face me, he had a frown.

"Really!? My flies!?" He said, angered.

I gave a sheepish smile, "They're good." I said. He frowned more and I slumped my shoulders forward. I pushed him off my lap and went to my room. I just wanted some flies... c,:

I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth then I went to bed. Good Night.

~TIME SKIP~

~Dakota's POV~

I yawned and got out of bed. I went into the kitchen and got myself some flies. I ate then dumped my bowl in the sink. I went to go brush my teeth then I went to my room and put on my clothes.

I went to Jerome's room to wake him up and he was sitting on his bed stroking a diamond axe.

"Um..Jerome get ready for school." I said. He hesitantly put down the diamond axe and pushed me out of the room so he could change.

~Mitch's POV~

Many people crowded me and my friends, a price to pay when you're popular.

"Hey look, the hybrids are here." Adam said.

"Well then let's go create some chaos." I said evilly.

~Eve's POV~

I sat down in a different seat up in the front. Apparently we don't keep our seats. I was very uneasy because those five guys from yesterday kept looking in my direction.

The teacher started the lecture. She was talking about a Silver Fish.

~Dakota's POV~

The teacher was talking about Silver Fish, shouldn't we already know about Silver Fish already?

I looked over to one of the 'Popular Guys' behind Eve. He had a backpack full of eggs and was looking at Eve.

I watched his throw one at the back of her head. Her ear flicked up but she stayed slumped over her desk, writing down notes.

The guy kept throwing more eggs until Eve turned just as he threw one, caugh it, and threw it back really hard in his face.

~Eve's POV~

That dick! He keeps throwing eggs at me! I swear if he throws one mor-

Then I felt sonething hit the back of my head really hard, hard enough to bring stars to my vision.

I turned just as he threw an egg and I caught it. I threw the eggs back in his face as hard as I could.

He looked back at me, shocked. No fracking duh you're shocked Adam!

He gave me a scowl while he wiped the egg yolk off his face.

~TIME SKIP CAN'T TAME ME!!~

I sat down and started to eat my fish. I stopped and took a sip of my milk. Jerome sat next to me and Quentin sat in front of me. Dakota was going to get food.

~Dakota's POV~

'Ouch!' I thought as a boy with emo hair slammed me into the wall. I winced and he smiled evilly. He stood back and turned to the boy next to him who had a gold amulet.

"I don't understand. You don't belong here." The guy said, twirling his amulet in his hand and shaking his head, "Who's stupid enough to let you hybrids into a human school? If every thing was up to me, you hybrids would all be my slaves."

I opened my mouth to object but the guy slammed his fist into my stomach. It took away my breath and left me light-headed.

"You don't belong here." Another said and kicked me.

"Worthless hybrid." A different one said, and slapped me.

"Good for nothing frog." A man in a spacesuit said and head-butt me.

I lay in a heap on the floor, trying to catch my breath. The world was spinning.

Finally, everything went still. I stood up and walked away towards the hybrid bathroom.

I grabbed the toilet paper roll and threw it against the stall wall. Life for us hybrids is hard, too hard.

We're outcasts, useless, good for nothing... The boys' voices kept entering my head, their words making me insane.

No. Dakota, don't let those words get to you. If we were useless, Notch wouldn't have spawned us. We have a reason...I hope.

The bathroom door swung open and I saw three pairs of feet. One pair had light blue shoes. Eve.
