"ShitShitShitShit," I mumbled throwing all my burnt clothes in a corner. "I swear to god if I have another flare up," I whisper-shouted. "Come on (Name)!" My friend shouted from the other side of my door. "I'll be out in a second!" I shouted putting my fire-proof gloves on.
I Laced up my boots as I ran out my door, leaving my friend behind. "Wait (name)!" She shouted behind me. I stopped almost knocking her down. "What?" I questioned her, straightening my Black Veil Brides shirt. "Do you even know who's adopting today?" She asked me. "No " I looked at her with a confused look. "Who's our Lord and Savior?" She hinted. I looked at her with wide eyes. "Andy Fucking Biersack," She said as she stood back, knowing that would cause a miniature flare up.
I screeched as the tips of my (Hair Color)hair lit on fire. The wallpaper of the orphanage's hallway started to melt. (Friends name) had already created an ice wall to shield her. I immediately regained control and smiled. "Sorry 'bout that," I said to some of the other kids passing by. Ethan laughed as his tail waved at me. I waved back. "I bet you're really happy," He said to me. "I sure am and I'm also sure you owe me a ride," I said the last part fast. "You still remember that," He smiled. "Children! Come on you're going to miss breakfast!" Ms. Wolf shouted from downstairs. "Coming!"
I quickly ran to my normal seat next to Ethan, Leo, Gabby, and Mia. "Wasa bro," Mia said pushing her sunglasses higher. I saw a snake try to steal her roll but, she swatted it away. Gabby snorted as her lions also tried to steal the roll. "You are so immature," Leo said trying to be serious. "10 Minutes children!" Ms. Wolf shouted.
I shakily breathed out. I mean I'm about to meet a man who looks like a god, who wouldn't be nervous. "You think you might have an accident?" Ethan asked me as he gently rubbed my back. "That and I get really shaky when I'm excited," I answered. "(Name), It's your turn sweetie," Ms. Wolf announced I smiled nervously and walked over. She stopped me right before I entered. "You're gonna do great," She whispered to me before pushing me in.
I quickly sat down and closed my eyes, focused on keeping the fire under control. My knee bounced quickly as I opened my eyes meeting his. Those blue eyes. No wait, now they're gray. Back to blue. No gray. GOD DAMNIT EYES MAKE UP YOUR MIND. Anyways, he was wearing what he usually wears when he's not performing. And he probably thinks I'm a total weirdo because he snapped a few times to help me focus on his words. I shook my head. "I'm sorry, what?" I said quietly. "I said, Are you okay?" Go- I mean Andy said. I panicked and said "Yeah, I'm fine. Wonderful!".
After a 10 minute introduction, Ms. Wolf came in and told me time's up.
"It was nice meeting you, Andy," I said running out of the room avoiding anything flammable on my way. I ran into my safe room and locked myself in. Red soon covered the room. My hair was floated as I released another ring of fire. The smoke disappeared almost immediately after I was done. I felt darkness welcome me before fainting from releasing so much energy.
"(Name), can you hear me?" a male voice softly said. "I'm alive," I giggled as I opened my eyes.What I saw surprised me. Ethan was staring at me as firemen put out a fire. "What happened?" I screeched. I tried to sit up quickly, Big mistake. Ethan used his tail to support my back. "After you fainted, your powers took control of themselves. You had an outburst hotter than the sun," Ms. Wolf replied. Her ears were hidden under her hat and her tail was wrapped around her waist, like a belt. I looked around for my friends. "(Name)!" I heard Gabby shout. "Ethan, help me over to them," He hand gently gripped mine. I winced as pain shot throughout my back. "You sure you can even move with my help?" He asked me. I nodded slowly.
"Jesus christ woman," Mia mumbled when she saw how broken I am. "I was almost done with the new bed," Gabby cried, her lions tried to comfort her. Leo was grooming his slightly darker wings.
"Wait! Andy was in the building still!" I paused to take a breath, "Where is he?" I questioned looking around. "He's on his tour bus," Leo calmly replied. I sighed and thought, "I may have ruined my chance of getting adopted,". "Don't think that way," Ethan whispered in my ear. I relaxed and sat down with Ethan's help.
