Chapter 1:Field Trip Ride Home

"Dare or dare", asked Carlos not knowing what was about to happen. Kimberly's face turned bright red, full or nervousness. "I dare you to either kiss Ivan, Aiden, or Gabriel or take your shoes and socks off for the rest of the ride to school." He said with a smirk. And then, out of nowhere, Aiden interrupted, "and Carlos too".

They were all friends and Kimberly knew she was going to go through a tough decision. Sitting next to her was her best friend Janai. She turned to look at her in worry knowing that she wasn't about to go barefoot. "Who should I pick?!", said Kimberly in an inpatient tone. Janai still confused about what was going on said, "Well, I don't know. I'd choose Carlos if I were you." Kimberly knew her friends always made the right decisions for her and so she trusted her.

Kimberly was nervous still. A little too nervous to even talk. They were all so quiet. We were almost at school, ready to go home. They were all hurrying her to answer but all that pressure wasn't helping at all. Finally, she regained some bravery and said, "I choose Carlos." Everyone's eyes opened up widely in astonishment.

Carlos and Kimberly just looked at each other. "Me?", he said in surprise. "Are you sure?" Kimberly wasn't even able to talk and she just nodded her head indicating a yes as an answer.

Carlos was the cutest and most popular boy in the fifth grade. His hazel brown eyes and his bronze skin that fit perfectly well with his pink lips, his sportiness, and his sense of humor that had most girls falling for him.

He had gone out with so many girls. Honestly, he was kind of a hoe. He had admitted it himself.

"But where?", he asked with a nervous smile. "I don't know, you choose.", replied Kimberly.

"Fine, I'll choose but you're gonna say no." "No, I won't. Whatever you choose is fine with me" she said trying to hide the scared side of herself.

"Close your eyes everyone" he announced. He made sure everyone was doing as he said and then, pointed to his lips. He had chosen his lips!!!

Kimberly blushed causing her cheeks to turn bright pink.

"Ok", she said. "But when and where? I was thinking maybe you can come over to my seat and we do it here." "Sure." He agreed. "That's fine with me."

Then, Kimberly looked out the window to see her mom and siblings outside waiting for her.

"Never mind. We're doing it on Monday", said Kimberly in a stronger voice.

After school, Kimberly was using kik ( a messenger app), and Edith, her BFFL told her that Carlos told her that he had made Kimberly blush.

After texting Edith, I texted Vanessa and I reminded her that I dared Gabriel to kiss her on the cheek. I found it pretty cute but funny at the same time meanwhile Nessa didn't feel prepared and so she wasn't too glad or happy with me but I think it's worth a first...
