Make A Wish [Narry au] (slow updates)

~ Two years ago~

I woke up scared and confused. Where was I? Everything was blurry and I couldn't move around at all. I blinked a couple of times, and eventually things started coming into focus.

The first thing I saw was the room. The walls were a mix between cream and tan. On the wall across from me, there was a decent sized first screen tv, hooked up to what seemed to be a Wii.

Under the tv was a large wooden table, covered in flowers, balloons, get well cars, and unopened packages that seemed to be gifts. Whose are those?

My eyes wandered to the left of me, to see two doors. One of them looked like it led to a ... Bathroom maybe? And the other led outside of this small room. I turned my head to see that the wall to the right of me was lined with chairs and a small couch.

Right next to me was a cot that had a dew blankets and a pillow, but no one was there. I looked down at myself to see tubes in my arms, and a thin paper gown covering my body. I was laying in a bed, tucked under the sheets.

Why was I- my thoughts got cut short when I heard a beeping sound coming from the left side of me. I looked to where the sound was coming from and saw a monitor. It's a heart rate monitor, my subconscious told me. Why am I in hospital? What happened. Just then I heard a snore come from the couch. My dad was laying on the couch, my mum curled up on one of the plastic chairs.

The door opened with a click, and in case a doctor. "Why am I here? What happened?" I immediately asked him.

"Your test results are back. You have cancer."
