Its been a week since my youngest sister Emmalene moved in. And everyday she reminds me of why I moved out on my own.

Amara

On days like this I regretted moving in with my sisters. Luna is chill but Emmalene could be an annoying pest sometimes last night she barged into my room while I was on the phone with my best friend/crush and normally I wouldn't care but he'd just gotten out of a really difficult relationship and she blurts out if im gonna ask him out. Like he couldn't hear her. Now he's avoiding me and I, being a woman of my word, now had to tell him that I do have feelings for him but would never act on them. Which isn't exactly a lie, I didn't have plans to act on my feelings for him. But now I need to do something about the spilt beans.

"Mara I said I was sorry. If you want I'll go and tell Chase that I was just joking or that I meant someone else." Emmalene Forester said. She's 19 slim freckled with waist length unruly hair.

"Its too late Em. I have to confess to him. Or lose my best friend forever." Ugh I hated being a mature adult.

I drove to his house and just sat in the driveway for a few minutes.

"Hey! You better get outta here!"

Chasity, Chases twin said standing next to my window.

"Relax Chas it's just me"

"Well shit Mara. You had me worried. Now do me a favor and explain to me why he called me over if you were already here?"

"Because he knows I like him, and he just broke up with Stacy."

"Like? Shit girl quit playing you know you love that man."

"Really?" Chase asked stepping out of the house.

"Chase I can explain"

"Just answer the question"

"Yea. I've been in love with you for years. But you were always with someone else."

He didn't say anything.

"If you want I'll go." I offered.

"Chas I'm sorry I dragged you down here but me and Amara need to talk."

"Bye." She said making a speedy exit.

"Come in."
