Autumn in Seattle

Autumn in Seattle was a spectacular sight to see. The green, fresh leaves would start to change their colour with fierce yellows and oranges starting to creep up the sides, and the tree bark would start to turn into a mud like colour blending perfectly with the slightly fire coloured leaves. If the wind was strong enough it would blow these leaves off the tree and they would land on your head making a autumn inspired leaf crown. I loved autumn it was my favourite season. When I was little, me and my grandma used to make 'leaf angels' as the leaves would fall off the trees in autumn. The wind would howl at the side of the tree, making it shake and wobble and as it did so the leaves would slowly descend down, effortlessly like they had done it a million times before and then they would hit the ground and lay to sleep. I wish that I was this beautiful, this care free. But no. Unfortunately I wasn't, I was the sit in the back of the class type, the kid who always read books, the kid who's anxiety would get the best of them in almost every situation. Basically, I wasn't the best type of seventeen year old that you could have a conversation with or have anything in common with for that matter. I hadn't had a boyfriend since I was fifteen but that's another story for later and I hadn't really got any friends except for one person who I had known my entire life.. Ellie. She was just the best. She would always support me and make me laugh and she was WAY prettier than me. She had silky blonde hair and sapphire blue eyes and she was quite tall too, we were the same height but I always felt smaller than her. But she was always way more relaxed than me, I was always on edge and always on the lookout but she got me, she understood. We went to Alton Towers once and I had persuaded her to go on Oblivion and I swear she was soaking wet like she has just gotten out of the swimming baths. She was SO nervous. They were the good memories before it all went wrong..
