*Sarah's pov*

"Hey sarah, you think they'll have wifi in Paris?"Ben asked me.

"Are you serious?" I retorted,"we're going on vacation, and all you can think about is wifi for your phone?"

I've been fed up with him lately. He's been on his phone so much, I just get annoyed. Right when we got on this plane he's just been glued to that thing. I'm more of an old fashioned type. but I guess he's my annoying, techy boyfriend.

I got out my favorite book "the life of Marco De Carpo" and started reading. Ben peeked over from his seat at me.

"Is that the dudes who's house we're gonna see?" Ben asked.

"Yup! Marco De Carpo, born 1813 died 1871, the inventor who created the airplane. he's such a genius, such an inspiration!"

In fact, the whole purpose of this trip is to visit his house that he invented the airplane in. I just brought Ben along because the trip was a birthday gift and I could bring one person.

"I can't wait to see the Eiffel Tower." Said Ben, still absorbed in his phone. "did you know that the Eiffel Tower is 1,063 feet tall?"

I put down my book. "yes actually, I read it in a BOOK. With these amazing things made from trees called PAGES."

Ben rolled his eyes, still not looking at me.

" You know it would be nice if-" I started.

All the sudden, I felt as if the plane lurched a hundred feet. The we heard this BANG BANG BANG. We went up and down like a valley fair roller coaster 10x.

Ben and I looked at each other in pure terror as we tried not to lose consciousness.
