The summer of my Dreams (A Sam Pottorff fanfic)

A/N Ok so this is my first FanFic and I don't think anyone will read it

but I don't care anyways here it is. 

                                SKYLER'S POV

"OMG Dad you didn't!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I just got the best news ever.

"Only the best for my little girl" he said with a smile on his face.

"Dad I'm 17 not 5" I said rolling my eyes at him.

"I know but you will always be my little girl. Now go pack you only have 5 days and I know how you are when it comes to packing!" he said hugging me. I can't what to tell my friends the good news. So I went to my phone and texted my friend Mason.

ME-Hey I have the best news ever wanna here: )

Mason- HELL YA what is it???

ME- My Dad is sending me to THE Ring Of Fire Horse camp in 5 days

Mason-FINALLY THAT CAMP IS ALL YOU TALK ABOUT ANYMORE

ME- haha funny this is a big deal for me and you know it better then anyone

Mason- I know I know I am happy for you Sky

ME- thanks well I need to go pack text you later

Mason- ok bye

I am so happy I can't wait to go. The only thing missing is my horse Storm rider. I miss her so much way did Mom make me sell her? That whole she is to dangerous thing is a lie she would never hurt me. My thoughts where interrupted by my mom crying downstars. I ran down and saw two policemen standing at the door.

"MOM what's going on!" I asked looking at her on the floor.

"Sky its your Dad h-he..." She was cut off by one off the officers at the door. 

"He was killed in a car wreck 5 minutes ago I am sorry for your lose "  did I just hear what I think I heard.

" no no YOUR LIEING IT CANT BE IT JUST CANT TELL ME ITS NOT TRUE TELL ME " I screamed I was collapsed on the floor next to my mom. who was holding me in her arm's

" its not true" I cryed "it can't be."

************************ 4 days later*******************

"Skyler wake up it is time to go" my mom said shakeing me awake

"I'm not going anywhere leave me alone" I said throwing a pillow at her.

"Sky you said you would go now you are going your Dad...your dad would have wanted you to go" I hate it she just said the one thing that I couldnt say no to.

" ok fine but I am not going anywhere near a horse"  I couldn't bring myself to that kind of pain it was just to much.

" alright just go get ready we leave in 30 minutes" she said walking out of my room.

" ok I will be ready" I stood up from my bed and walked to the bathroom. got ready and walked downstars.

" ready?" my mom asked with a smile

" ya whatever" I said walking out to the car and throwing my stuff in.

********************** At camp*****************

It was the last day of camp and all I have done is go to the mess hall and back to my cabin. I was waiting with the last of the kids to be picked up. When I got a call from my mom.

"Hey are you almost here" I asked looking around.

"No sweete I'm not" she sounded like she had been crying.
