This chapter will be slightly boring, but.... it shouldn't be too bad. ~xXWater_BlueXx
I slowly open my eyes and sit up. Once again, I hear nothing, and feel nothing. This place is so empty, with nothing to do, no one to talk to, and nowhere to go. The sky is usually endlessly blue, with a whiteish yellowish sun, but I can't reach it, or go up towards where there are supposedly 'stars,' and 'space.' I sometimes can see the stars when the sun sinks past the waters, and the sky turns dark. By then, I am usually asleep. The sun rises around the time I wake up.
That so called 'space' doesn't sound very interesting though. It is just another endless area. The ground here is a silvery blue liquid, not water, but like water. It is very shallow, and there aren't any waves except the ones I make when I move. Sometimes, I can walk on it. It never makes me wet, but just drips off of me when I stand up. Under the shallow liquid, there is a white ground. I cannot damage it in any way, and it is very soft.
The liquid is sometimes at my ankles, and can rise up to my waist. Other than that and the sun rising and sinking through the liquid, nothing changes. The air always smells like a paradise, and I never get hungry. Every day, I hope and wait for someone, something to show up. But nothing ever does. All I see, feel, hear and smell is the same. This liquid, the sky, and my reflection.
I can see my reflection in the liquid when I am still. I have long, light coral/peachish faded to light orangey-yellowish hair that goes down just below my knees, a pink eye and a silver eye. My silver eye has the slight marking of a four pointed star, barely noticeable, unless you look extremely hard at it. My hair covers my silver eye, but my pink eye is fully visible. I wear a simple knee-length white dress wth white ribbons wrapped in a criss-cross pattern around my lower legs, along with my wrist, and I don't have shoes. I've never been able to figure out why I have two colored eyes, or why my appearance seems so different, and unusual. It changes over time, my hair growing longer, and me growing taller. It's a slow process though.
I haven't always been here, but I have no memories of my past except the color red, screams, and my name, Alyssa Yuki Hana. Those screams that I mentioned earlier sound horrifying when they echo throughout my mind. Somehow, I know how to think and read, but I'm not sure if I can speak. I don't feel like trying either. When I had first got here, I had tried to find something else, but by now, I've given up. The amount of time I've spent here is definitely enough to make someone forget almost everything. However, objects and what they look like are easy to remember.
Once every 365 days, a white lily with a candle next to it appears. I have 9 of them, and today, another should arrive. Isn't that called a birthday? I sit down in the liquid and sigh. I just want to get out of here!!
"Why hello there, twin sister." A voice says. I quickly stand up and turn towards the direction of the voice. It belongs to a boy with reddish orangish hair and the same color of eyes that I have, except he doesn't have a silver eye. Where his silver eye would be is a normal eye. That's crazy! And he has a gray hoodie with a white shirt beneath it, with black pants.
I silently watch him for his next move. I don't really remember how to talk, so I can't communicate with him unless I decide to learn. "You must have forgotten how to talk! But I'm sure you can understand me, right?" I slowly nod. "I am Arthur, your twin brother!" I look at him strangely and make a 'prove it to me' face.
He sighs and pulls up his sleeve. On his wrist, there is a mark. It looks like a four pointed star with a lot of mini dot stars around it, and it's a bright orange. His other wrist also has a faded phoenix that was originally gray, and is now a dark skin color, like a scar or burn, but prettier.
"Have you ever noticed the pattern on your thigh that looks like the phoenix on the star?" He asks, pulling his sleeve down. I nod. My mark is a phoenix on a star, colored appropriately, the star being galaxy colored, and the phoenix being fire colored. But how does he know that? It's not visible. He must be my twin then, with his memory intact, or some sort of stalker.
"Have you noticed the star in your silver eye?" I freeze. This guy practically knows everything! That mark isn't really noticeable, and my silver eye isn't even visible right now, because of my hair. That guy must be one of those stalkers! "I see... you now don't trust me. Well, you will have to come with me anyway. We are leaving this place."
"I've been here the same amount of time as you, judging by the amount of flowers you have. We've strangely never met. But unlike you, I don't have a silver eye, unimaginable powers, and I still have my memory intact. So I remember everything that happened. Anyway, I have found a way to get us out of here!" He says, and grabs my hand. He runs, dragging me over the water. I'm flyinggggggggg!!!!!!(LOL)
We end up reaching a spot where he slows down gradually, and stops. Ten flowers and candles appear. A blue diamond floats on the water. I point to the diamond and him, and switch pointing between them, trying to ask if he made this. He seems to know exactly what I'm thinking. Creepy.
"No, someone's trying to get us out of here. I just combined the energy they sent here with my own, and created this portal." I shake my head and point to it. Will it for sure work? "Oh. I've never tested it before, so we have a 90% chance of dying. If I'm going down, you are too, since we're twins. >:D" I sigh and roll my eyes.
He lets go of my hand and picks up the diamond. "TOOOO THE OTHER WORLD!!!" He yells out like a cartoon character. I freeze in shock as we're pulled into the portal. My world starts spinning, and I start to lose consciousness, but I know, that wherever we are going, that place, will... must... be better than that vast ocean.
Or so I thought.....
